In the future once I return back on the server, I will stop killing anyone including people I know and are fine with it as it can cause issues/chaos.
Why should you be unbanned:
I will explain the situation so you can get an idea of what happened to cause this;
On a Monday afternoon, me and my IRL buddy "Hashington" were walking around the facility trying to figure out what to do. Shortly after a few events, he turned on me and wanted to kill me and told me so. He chased me very menacingly and I told him to stop. I got him down to 70 HP with no intention of killing him, just warning him. After a while of him chasing me, I asked him to stop chasing me and I had a suggestion. We both stopped and he listened to my plan, which I had just made up. Me and him were going to race, but make it so whoever loses dies, so it's all fair in the end, and we thought it was funny and decided to do it.
We'd been playing on the server for a while, so we were starting to get sleepy, so our thinking wasn't at its best. We did the race from the research bunk to the elevator next to the security sector blast door. He won, and I got a little frustrated and didn't want to die because I had stuff on me that would disappear if I died. So, thinking it would be funny and logical, I looked around to see if anyone was near - a quick left and right - as I didn't have time as he was quickly approaching me. After thinking no one was near, I quickly killed him, left the scene as fast as I could, and within minutes was pulled into a sit as an admin while noclipping saw me kill him and didn't have the context.
I was very panicked there, hoping not to get banned, so I explained what happened lacklusterly due to 10pm sleepiness and also a sudden jolt of panic. I asked for leniency since I didn't know anyone was around and it was my real-life friend, but the admin refused and told me I was at fault and I was banned shortly after. I deeply regret doing this for many reasons, as I'm trying my best to make my history cleaner, I'm doing my best to better myself, and I regret all the things I've been warned and banned for.
I've made my initiative to change myself on the server after returning three weeks ago, as I realized I was being mingey, so I decided to start helping newcomers, not only including my friend. For my friend, he gained a lot of interest in the server and even created a really well-done document as a Jr. Researcher (which is still work in progress and has been praised by many high rankings including multiple CL4's and a CL5's), he also hasn't received any warnings or bans while playing with me because I try my best to help him abide by the server rules. In the three weeks I have been playing, I have never received a warning excluding this one, and I am truly sorry for my recent lapse. I'm not looking for a full unban, as I believe just a reduction in my ban time is justifiable because after thinking about it, yes, it was wrong what I did, and I'm really trying my best to stop myself from doing it, I have learned from the consequences and am continuing to better myself each day I play on this server.

There are many other pages, but can not attach them all, recently Casseno an Exec. Researcher said this was one of his Top 10. Documents he's ever seen and is going to show it to the DoR and maybe help make it an exemplary document, he also wanted to scan the document to read it in his spare time to give more detailed feedback and admire it more, and he also said many other positive things on top of all of that. I've helped my friend get recognized by the Exec's and possibly the DoR as a very high quality researcher, and they want him to apply as an Exec. Researcher role as soon as he can.
My past has a lot of deep lows and high highs but when it comes to new players I will try my best to lead them to the path I wish I was on, I am really trying to change my ways for the better and I'm getting there slowly but surely every day I play here.
Once again I am only seeking for a ban reduction but I would be very grateful if this could fully get appealed, or anything similar.
