What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
[This suggestion is to change one of or add some goggles to act like thermals for finding 966 with lights on. I can't speak for everyone else but I know my eyes and head starts to hurt after hunting 966 for more than a few minutes, and I personally don't think taking real life retina damage to contain a monster in a videogame is a good deal.]

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
[There has been suggestions to add thermals but not to just drop the brightness on one of the current NVGs, and this isn't just for esthetic purposes. ]

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
[Keeps people from frying their eyes, isn't hard to do, gives the other NVG a use.]

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
[Someone may use it outsideof 966 containing but won't provide substantial advantages outside that.]

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
[I think it would be a nice QOL change and wouldn't take much work. Can't genuinely think a con.]

so.. shooting 966 without the debuff of it being hard to find him??
no thanks
Not at all the suggestion. Literally just NVGs that don't kill your eyes, the dimest NVG is green which is a color that stands out the most to the human eyes.

You will still need NVGs and they will still be limiting visually (could say they're 1st gen thermals which are very poor resolution) just not physically damaging to the players, especially to those with vision issues already.

If anything if properly implemented it could be a buff to 966, having a type of range limitation in return for not being blinded to imitate the effect of lower generation Thermal goggles.

because getting a really bad headache is completely normal

how about you get that checked
Yes sir it is infact a normal thing to get a headache after looking at a bright green screen (especially since Green is the most seen color by the human eye, which is why most of the NATO forces use Green NVD for night time or dark operations.) but for most common eye issues it can be made more harmful. "Getting that checked" won't fix anything.

Suggestion Denied

Hi @Kevin Ki ,

Thanks for taking the time to make a server suggestion.
The Content Team has chosen to deny your suggestion due to the following reasons.

This can be solved be either turning off lights in the select area, lowering monitor/gmod brightness or selecting a softer nvg colour such as blue or red. As a result, this isn't really something needed.

Your suggestion will now be locked and marked as denied.
