Poisoning food!

What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Adds the ability to cook/create Poisoned food.

The method can be done via cooking a food item with cyanide (or maybe a new vcraft food item), This would deal damage to the player who eats the food similar to cyanide, perhaps with a delay so they can roleplay out some action.

I do think that players could have the ability to detect if the food has been poisoned (Maybe tied to cooking level?) which then rewards players for making cooked food (And not mass eating MRE's)

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
I can't find any suggestion that is similar to this. But I feel like it may have been done before.

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
Roleplay opportunities for deepcovers (POG) and assessment teams should they wish to try and assassinate a high profile figure.

More encouragement to work on cooking food rather than spamming food items to gain miniscule amounts of hunger back (I saw a man eat 25 chocolate bars just to fill his hunger today it was crazy).


Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
Developer time, I cannot believe this.

Fringe cases of minges using food to murder someone (can be tracked via logs as is to my knowledge and could be modified to be logged better)

More encouragement to collect cyanide.


Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:

I've been observing some behaviour recently of deepcovers not really roleplaying and just playing "watch and wait to kidnap" Simulator, Either with the goal of breaching something or stealing documents or someone, This allows them an opportunity to go into site with an objective of getting a low level chef disguise deliberately to make poisoned food to give to a high profile individual.

Edit: I want to add I'm aware you can achieve this via some gm objectives and via just dropping cyanide and food at the same time.

Gm objectives are limited to gm's and hmod+ and there's a case to make if that sort of rp is to stay behind those ranks.

As for dropping both items, You'd have to be distracted or blind not to see two food items drop.

As much as I want to say that I never needed it, since most of the people on CN already drink bleach and eat pills without me trying to hide it. not forgetting to mention suicide with eggs and lobsters.
Still I think it's a nice suggestion. I can't wait to get assassinated with a bottle of vodka.

Based on what you've explained this seems very easy to implement whilst also being a very fun way to provide RP enhancement, incentive to the cooking system and overall more fun in some interaction cases. Hope it gets added

I can't wait to be at a meeting and get given a pizza, only to fucking DIE

I made a similar suggestion to this , but instead of using Cyanide we would use SCP 807, which was denied for the reason that it would be abused by minges, I think this could also happen here.

But you have my full support on this

I do personally want to push the angle of "RP Potential over minge abuse", I did note that it could be an issue but with appropriate logs, can be handled appropriately by staff.
