Accepted Replace NPCs with Quartermasters

What this suggestion changes:
Combines the GOC, CI, and any other armoury/attachment NPCs into Quartermasters, such as the one found in the Security Sector armoury.


Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:

Possible Positives of the suggestion:

• Standardizes UI between NPCs that serve a similar purpose
• Doesn't require developer resources as VNPCs can be configured by Super Admins
• Removes 1 entity for every NPC pair

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:

• Players accustomed to separate NPCs may find it frustrating to have to click through one additional menu

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
More consistency in UI makes the server feel more well put-together and less confusing. Less entities may also (marginally) reduce lag.

In the past, I've also thought about the idea of suggesting doing a similar thing for printer/shredder pairs - And I have done so as part of discussion in a prior suggestion, but I think it was skipped over with good reason - Plus I don't know how transferrable that UI setup is to VComputers, nor how much of a problem it would be, how many issues that could arise (i.e. You try to copy a printed document and for some reason it decides you selected to shred it, two very different actions with different connotations, one of which potentially destructive to a document that might be important to RP, something you don't want to destroy accidentally basically) and how inconsistent UI-wise it would become since even though every extant printer+shredder would be combined, there would still be individual printers & shredders so it could be confusing for people, etc. etc.

Anyway, that's a tangent. This idea is fine. Whoever likes this other idea, feel free to run with that too, to just remove more unnecessary entities and such.
