Denied Redo $ For kills

What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Up the cash you get for killing other GOIS (CI getting cash for killing foundation, Foundation getting cash for CI, etc etc)
- Instead of $20 for an assist, and $50 for a kill. The cash prize should depend on
- Rank
- If the person they killed had an ongoing kill streak (CI who killed 19 foundation members would have a higher payout than the CI who killed 2)
- special roles (Killing a jugg, osuits,, or any Thaum / TB)

As an idea, Killing an overseer would give the individual who killed him around $500 +, while a regular cl 1 staff could be the normal $20-50


Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- Reward getting kills on individuals hard / difficult to kill that's greater than $20-$50
- This in theory could result in other GOIs not shooting non - combative assuming killing a janitor won't get you anything. Not a major thing but would be nice to see other groups not focus on murdering everyone just for the fun of it


Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- In theory someone could farm for kills for money but I don't see this as being heavily abused as the cash prizes would only be slightly better, and the higher paying ones would be locked on a timer (TBs) or just hard to constantly kill each other without someone noticing)

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:

I think bumping the payout for kills depending on rank, killstreak, and any special roles would be a greater reward to players. The current $20 for assists and $50 is rather low but also depending on who is killed, rather high. I believe giving a better reward depending on who you killed would be a great motivator and generally just make everyone a little bit happier.

While I truly do think that there ought to be bigger payouts per kill - Increasing them might resort in people becoming way more combatitive. I don't know how an average day flows on US but on UK CI love making holds and rinsing people. As Wyatt pointed out:

This would push CI to do more hold raids rather than moving around - It's already a problem when they take control of an area, especially 914 where they get RPKs and energy weapons. Rewarding this is something I'm strongly against.

hold raids arent very fun and are very boring

i'd argue the opposite actually. if they DID raid for the intent of killing people . the higher cleaerance would pay out more. they'd likely roam site in hopes to kill cl4s. Currenty the regular kill for anyone is $50.

you could easily lower MTF / base combative kills while keeping it higher for other ones

The Content Team has chosen to deny your suggestion due to the following reasons.

The reason we have decided to accept this as this would encourage random killing to farm money faster. That would not help the server in 2 ways. Lots of RDM and too many people with lot of money for either ci or dclass.

Your suggestion will now be locked and marked as denied.​
