AI slop actually did its job somewhat accurately for once.
Inherently the main complaint was that for some reason there's a major push to make the standard SCP server like Site 9 (nothing ever happens).
D-class roaming free and somehow getting access to keycards + hacking devices should be 'OH...

WE ARE NOT SITE 9
Why are we removing yet another feature that made D-class escaping dangerous? First it was CL5's being nuked from 914 (no more funny infobreaches) and now people are wanting to remove hacking out SCPs on lowpop? (NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS REMOVES THE ENTIRE POINT OF...
Not really; it's against our infoleak rules to do that (low effort/shitpost/troll infoleaking). I've gotten Rangers warned before as GOC/F for doing this without good reason; and almost warned for doing it via binocs.
Low effort (and arguably low roleplay) infobreaches like that are iffy and...
20 minute breach cooldown is a fucking clownshow for a keter-class (D-class with a TE5 can literally hack out more SCPs in the same amount of time, get a cl4, and escape to surface and survive nuke only to do it all again), especially considering 079 can no longer turn off generators.
This...
He can't even do this. You've read my thread on why; the fact they removed turbine breaking after I abused it on UK is just proof they want to make SCP-079 bad enough to remove from the server
lol lmao, keep in mind again this was silently changed without a changelog or any notification, so...
I should have clarified better; i said 'about'; not against for a reason. There were specific divots and pivots used to help make /me strips weapons more realistic (e.g it's unreasonable to believe a D-class could somehow speedrun stealing an Officer's main firearm, sidearm, and backup weapons...
079 can already hack turbines, it just needs 60+ players. Unless SL removed it silently without a changelog, I was able to do this less than two days ago.
If they did this, some serious investigation needs to be done into how updates & balance changelogs are being done, because a major change...
Surface Medic is already pretty useless and is basically a defunct role like regular gundealer. Nobody uses it for the intended purpose (surface roleplay) and its only ever occupied, I find, when Rangers are doing their normal stint of failRP and trying to kill GOC/Foundation as a surface...
You can't. It's powergaming (as far as I'm aware); we've had previous rulings about weapon strip keybinds for this exact reason involving D-class being able to 1 on 1 instantly fear-rp any security staff with a knife. (D-class would bait guards to open a door alone, which involves them putting...
Aren't we really hesitant to give out the interro tool for good reasons? (it took UK IA CL4 like a literal year of fighting with content team and SL to get agents to have interro tool)
We had problems with ranger minging before, this'd exascerbate the problem a few thousand times if a Ranger...

Previous experiences in the GOC were so funny. You could survive a 1000lbs as a normal person by just walking slightly down a slope from the SCP.
Fun times, but honestly yeah 1000lbs does literally nothing to most SCPs in the game at the moment.
The point wasn't to demean the update, I said as much in the post itself towards the end (that the update is certainly an advancement and is going to make the server better once fixed). The point was to highlight how dogshit XK SCPs have been managed and treated by content team and server...
Honestly they just really need to adjust the cooldowns and energy gain to properly scale with online players, and make lockdown last way longer or just constantly drain energy to use (like a toggle) and most of these issues wouldn't be a problem in the first place. It's just a stacking problem...
I've been playing on and off for a few months, but oh boy, have things gotten bad recently.
To start; The SCP-079 'soft rework' riddled with so many bugs, unworking features and a pretty high profile breach queue bug that a few months ago, I raised as a potentially really funny way to softlock...
You mean like the 079 rework, which is almost exactly the same to multiple suggestion threads that were denied previously, which has now (after SCP SL has realised how bad it was to play the SCP) been accepted?
I'm aware the content teams have changed since, but CN doesn't have the best of...
Unfortunately this much mirrors my previous SCP-682 suggestions (change to have passive health regen instead of 40,000 HP and a huge hitbox), which was rejected out of pocket.
+SUPPORT but I am eighty percent sure this is going to be rejected.
