What Ethics Committee role are you applying for, and why: any open one that may be available and it feels like the next logical step.

What makes you the best candidate for the Ethics Committee?: I don’t necessarily feel that I am the MOST qualified, but as always I feel that I will pick it up quickly and grow.

What are the responsibilities of the Ethics Committee in RP?: To oversee the enforcement of the CoE, as well as doing department reviews, and if needed, improving the CoE

What are the responsibilities of the Ethics Committee out of RP (e.g. what applications do they handle?): they handle ECA applications, they also oversee O1

Please give some lore about your Ethics Committee character and what storylines they would be involved in: I don’t really know about storylines per se, But as far as my character lore (this is a… synopsis not the full thing) I was a career soldier in the U.S. army who ended up getting a dishonorable discharge due to having “murdered” some “civilians.” After that I found my way into a para-military outfit (mercenary outfit) and worked with them for some years. While working with that outfit I ran into some facility personnel on a strange mission. I ended up being recruited into the foundation at that point. I was kind of passed around MTF units due to being a skilled operator. I have recently been wounded and while the doctors did their best, I am not really in fighting shape any more but still want to be a part of the facility and have decided to look into the administration side of the foundation.

Hi there! Despite me being mostly a player on the SCP-RP UK server, I feel like I could still leave my verdict based on the application. After reading thought it, I still have questions if you know exactly what the Committee decides on outside of RP and what they do in RP. The application itself is extremely short, especially on the part "What makes you the best candidate for the Ethics Committee". Despite this, I still wish you the best of luck on your application, hence why I am leaving a Neutral.

Yes my application may be kind of short to some, and yes I could expand on a bunch of flowery things to flesh it out and simply make it longer, but I n all fairness when it comes to my lore it does clearly state that it is just a synopsis. I could use more or other words, but those who know me know that isn’t what I do. I keep things short and sweet and to the point. I don’t believe in hemming and hawing, dragging things out, or making a spectacle of things. The shortness of my application reflects that. As far as knowing what the committee does, I quite frankly am unsure of it. I know a couple things of what they do but here on the US server they don’t run around and tell everyone what they do. They keep it behind closed doors as it quite frankly should be. But that doesn’t change the fact that I am a fast learner and can pick it up fairly quickly if I am given the chance. Thank you for your response and the opportunity to hopefully clear those issues that others may see as well.
