What does this suggestion change/add/remove: give 079 his ability to activate cognitohazzards on computers again now that there fixed and also maybe give him the ability to interact with keycard printers

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?: not that I know of

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
Give 079 his ability back that was taken away originally due to a bug and another power as a suggestion

Possible Negatives of the suggestion: printer abuse maybe
Makes 079 more annoying ig

[Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted: he had this power originally but it was taken away due to the screens not killing people

For 079 being able to mess with keycard printers. I know that the immediate thing that'll be seen with this is abuse - However let's evaluate that thoroughly:
The keycard printers themselves are locked away in the SA offices(?) which are hard for people that shouldn't be getting to them, to get to - So it's not like 079 would suddenly be able to randomly distribute CL4s to Chefs without some very extensive and very obvious teaming. Then on top of that, 079 is a paid role, so as a whole, this is very significantly walled off.

Okay, so you would have to put significant effort to abuse it, which itself would come with decent risk that's not really worth it. What exactly does 079 being able to screw with keycard printers do for 079 or anyone else? What should 079 be able to do with them, in a way that makes sense for 079 to be able to do, that would be generally acceptable for all involved gameplay loops?

I have a few ideas:
  • Booby Trap - For the next minute or so (duration can be whatever's good), the next attempt at using the keycard printer causes a grenade-sized explosion centred on the keycard printer itself, that's a bit stronger than normal grenade explosions, probably closer to the kind of damage the suicide bomb SWEP deals, idk. The details can be worked out. Note that it's only that attempt, not every attempt during that length of time. If someone else tries to use it immediately after, it's normal. And then you can give that ability overall some kind of cooldown.

  • Wrong Clearance - For the next 5 minutes (same sitch as before), all keycards printed will have a random clearance between 1 and 4.

  • Who Sent This Print Job? - Keycard printer immediately goes unresponsive and prints out a few random, CL1/2 keycards. Remains unusable for the following 5 minutes.

  • "Diplomatic Immunity" - Prints a fake document from a list of presets that are created in advance, all of which are some kind of incriminatory document relating to a GOI (i.e. A draft for an F declaration of war against GOC or vice-versa, a draft for a GOC or F declaration of friendship with CI.)

  • Take A Good Look - Prints an 096 pic.

This stuff really kinda writes itself. Given the secluded location, the few jobs that are readily able to access it and the heavily RP-focused nature of those jobs, I would say that these effects could have interesting RP interactions if used right. Imagine using 079 to assassinate an EC/O5.

I would absolutely love that printing an 096 picture that would also be nice for printers or the screens above checkpoints ngl
