What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
This is a suggestion to rework the time it takes to recontain SCP-106, by making a system based on the time that he has been breached
- The earlier that a d-class is put into the femur breaker, the longer it takes before 106 is placed back into his CC
- Say if a d-class is already put in 1 minute after 106 breaches, 106 may get around 6-7 minutes before he is actually placed back in his CC
- If he has already breached for 10 minutes, it reverts back to the current timer
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
Not that I know of
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- 106 has a consistent breach without relying on others to fend off his CC
- Discourages metagaming 106 as it wont be instantly ended by having D-Class on-hand
- Nerfs coincidences where people testing in HCZ have d-class when 106 breaches
- Removes the need for 106 to camp his own CC and can go to other areas to enjoy his breach
- More Lore Accurate, 106 doesnt instantly go to his CC and takes a while to do so
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- Development Time
- 106 breaches may become too OP with other SCPs
- May become boring to wait for 106 to be recontained
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
SCP-106 is the most affected by instant recontainment events where they dont have a chance to breach, and having this change makes him a better solo-viable breach and isnt reserved for other SCPs to break him out to be a viable breach option. It also reduces the amount of RNG in 106 breaches as it wont be entirely ruined by having certain things taking place when the breach happens.
