I love to do roleplay in general, especially with the Gamemasters when they conduct events and attempt to make roleplay that everyone will enjoy. This is a heavily roleplay-based server, I believe I can bring enjoyable and generally fun roleplay to GOC. I wish to engage in roleplay with both the Foundation and CI as I believe I can bring some solid roleplay opportunities to the table between them. I can also provide the GOC some pretty solid ideas and suggestions. I can come up with original ideas and suggestions that other factions haven't used or thought of and benefit the GOC at the same time. I also consider my communication skills to be strong in both roleplay and combat. While I won't say it's perfect, I can present it well and educate others how to communicate in addition to the other things I said. In addition to being a current Intel main and having served as Alpha-1, CI Delta, and Epsilon-11 in the past, I can guarantee that I am more than capable of protecting VIPs, conducting deep-cover infiltrations, containing SCPs, hacking, and performing all surface-related missions swiftly. I am active and on the server during most of the day, so I can guarantee activity. Foundation and CI gameplay were getting boring anyway, so I'll definitely main GOC.
Why do you want to join the Global Occult Coalition?:
I've always had my eye on this faction ever since it came out in the Surface Update. I didn't really play during the time the update actually came out, but I always love the idea of GOC being on servers, and I believe Civil Networks did GOC completely and 100% correct, lore-wise and enjoyability-wise (from what I've heard). I've tried both Foundation and CI like any reasonable person for some time, and I'm getting bored of having the same gameplay over and over again, and I believe GOC is going to be what I've been looking for for both entertain me and others. I believe GOC can be a genuinely fun opportunity if I do get accepted in it, and I can also bring what I listed above into play. I also aim to become a high ranking in GOC as well. Although I know I haven't reached a CO rank in any regiment or faction, GOC seems really fun to mess around with all the types of tools they have at their disposable such as care packages and bombing runs. I aim to achieve this position via showing off my skills both in-combat and RP.
Why was the Global Occult Coalition founded?:
The GOC was established after the Seventh Occult War in order to safeguard humanity from dangerous anomalies and to prevent organizations from becoming rogue.
What does the PHYSICS, PSYCHE, and PTOLEMY Divisions specialize in and give an example of some functions they do:
PHYSICS: The main operational branch of the Global Occult Coalition, akin to the Mobile Task Forces of the Foundation and the peacekeeping forces of the United Nations. They monitor for anomalies and analyze them. The two main branches of this Division are Assessment Teams (Investigation & Observation) and Strike Teams (Combat & Assault).
PHYSCE: The diplomatic branch of the Global Occult Coalition. It strives to avoid confrontations with other paranormal entities and maintains relations with the paranormal world. This branch consists of the Special Observers, operatives charged with investigating any anomalous dangers, and the Ambassadors, who maintain friendly relations with other anomalous factions.
PTOLMEY: The support branch of the Global Occult Coalition. It includes quartermasters who manage the logistics of everything from rations to weaponry, in addition to scientists and engineers in Research and Development that develop technological innovations.
What Are the Global Occult Coalition's goals?:
The Global Occult Coalition's "Fivefold Mission" is as follows:
"Survival": The Global Occult Coalition's main duty is to safeguard the human race from any paranormal threats.
"Concealment": In order to prevent mass hysteria and serious casualties among the general civil population, the Global Occult Coalition must keep paranormal dangers a secret.
"Protect": The Global Occult Coalition always strives to protect individuals, including protecting both Global Occult Coalition operatives and civilians.
"Destruction": The Global Occult Coalition should not take any chances with paranormal threats because the existence of the abnormal could jeopardize the very existence of the human race.
"Education": The Global Occult Coalition should continuously deepen its awareness of paranormal risks and conduct research on those threats, provided that it does not conflict with the prior four objectives.
Please explain The Seventh Occult War:
The Seventh Occult War, also known as World War 2, was a significant global struggle that pitted the Allies against the Axis. However, the majority of people were unaware that the Allied Occult Initiative, which was the first incarnation of the Global Occult Coalition during WW2, and the Ahnenerbe Obskurakorp were secretly at war alongside the Allied and Axis forces during World War 2. Ahnenerbe Obskurakorp, a fascist organization, sought out anomalies in order to harness their power. This was put an end to by the Allied Occult Initiative.
What makes the Global Occult Coalition different in in-comparison to the other groups within the SCP-universe in your view?:
In my opinion, the Global Occult Coalition is unique since the SCP Foundation focuses on studying SCPs and maintaining them out of the public eye. The Chaos Insurgency, however, seeks to exploit anomalies as weapons. According to their rational analysis, the Global Occult Coalition intends to entirely eradicate them in order to protect humanity.

Biographical Information:
Born in Detroit, Michigan, Duane Logans lived in the low-income part of Detroit, constantly living on the edge of street gang violence, hearing gunshots outside of his apartment every single day. Duane, from birth, was always a smart kid. He got nearly all A's and B's in his classes growing up from Middle School into High School. However, Duane took interest in joining a gang at the age of just 16 years old. Most of his friends were in it, so he decided to tag along. Duane, however, hated the idea of violence at a young age. Duane wanted peace amongst people in Detroit, however he soon came to realize that that was just another fairy tale he's been living by his entire life. Duane came to realize that only being in a gang will only cause problems for him and his family, so he ditched his old friends and grabbed some new ones, in which he started to pick up on sports and working out. Duane became obsessed with airsoft, so at the age of 17, he bought himself an airsoft gun and used it to shoot cans and bottles everyday with his friends that always praised him for his outstanding aim and steadiness. Duane ended up becoming an undergrad in High School, barely scraping by with barely passing grades. Duane spent most of his time just messing around with friends and didn’t even take interest in learning anything in school. He saw an opportunity to enlist in the military at 18 years old. The pay seemed good, and he needed a job, so he took his chances. He kissed his home and the rest of his family goodbye, and went off with his brothers, Trevon and Elijah, to boot camp to train to become United States Marines in 2010. There, Elijah passed top of his class at speed and agility, Trevon passed in physical strength and mental fortitude, all while Duane excelled in marksmanship. The 3 brothers spent 2 years in boot camp before being assigned platoons and squads. Duane went on his first tour of duty in 2012 with his brothers assigned to the same platoon. During his first tour, they were engaged in multiple firefights and multiple combat scenarios, all of these times the brothers managed to prevail and stay on top. Before returning and deciding on giving MARSOC, or commonly known as Marine Raiders, a chance in 2013. All 3 brothers passed selection from MARSOC, then the 3 brothers were sent on a mission to eliminate a HVT. During the mission, the 3 brothers were ambushed by Al-Qaeda terrorists and cornered into a building. During the firefight, a grenade was tossed through the window of the building they were sheltered inside of. The 3 brothers looked at the grenade in awe, while Elijah, 2 seconds later, picked up the grenade with his right hand, in which the grenade went off in his hand attempting to throw it back at the attackers, blowing it off. While Duane was giving covering fire, Trevon dragged Elijah out of the building while he signaled for a Med-Evac. Elijah was sent to Moncrief Army Health Clinic after they had evacuated from the firefight. Duane went on another tour in 2015, being assigned to a different squadron after the events that happened before Elijah was selected to serve alongside a classified military operation. Trevon was taken off of the field by 2 mysterious men in suits, offering a job opportunity to him, leaving Duane alone with the rest of the platoon to push back Al-Qaeda forces.
A couple months later leading into January of 2016, Duane was invited by a mysterious Agent only known as "L.A", to serve as an Intelligence Agent for a secret military operation also known as the "SCP Foundation". After learning the location of this SCP Foundation, Duane took this chance and decided to move to Canada to pursue this career of Intel Agent work. After a couple years of doing Intel work for the foundation, such as doing deep cover operations and helping gather information on a GoI known as the "Chaos Insurgency", he was suddenly radioed to come to a secluded location where he was then sedated and taken to a mysterious server room, this was a part of the facility that he hasn't seen or heard of. He was surrounded by men in suits and heavily armed soldiers. He was offered a position as an operative in a task force only known as "Alpha-1". He soon learned that Alpha-1 was tasked with the protection and maintaining secrecy of the mysterious “Site Inspectors”. After serving in the Alpha-1 for a while, and a few morally unethical deeds later, Duane met his brother, Trevon, while on a classified mission tasked with containing “SCP-7722”, where he came to realize that he was also an operative for another task force, known as "Epsilon-11", in which he decided to leave his classified task force position with Alpha-1, and transferred to Epsilon-11. Trevon personally trained Duane for Epsilon-11, showing him the ropes of containing anomalies. After a long, boring day of nothing really happening, the 2 brothers finally get a radio call, signaling them to assist with containing an anomaly that was spotted outside of a small town called "Pinewood". After being called to assist in containment of “SCP-8854” who was terrorizing the small town of Pinewood, they finally met up with Elijah, who had been helping the Foundation track and capture SCP-8854.
After SCP-8854 was taken for analysis and termination, Elijah, wearing a United Nations-esque uniform, came to his 2 brothers with an offering of a job application for the United Nations Global Occult Coalition. Duane and Trevon decided to give it a shot, and decided apply for the United Nations Global Occult Coalition.
