What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Adds a Field Kit [NOT FIRST AID KIT] to the loadout of E-11 Officer and Commander job.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
I have seen and personally wanted requests for an E-11 medic job in the past, However this request is to simply give E-11 Officer and Commander job a Field Kit [NOT FIRST AID KIT] instead of having a whole new medic job that would make other medic roles a lot less useful.
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
If dispensers are broken or disabled E-11 still have limited access to a source of healing and stopping bleeding.
Also if dispensers are broken or disabled E-11 don’t have to wait for a medic to go all the way into heavy and/or require E-11 to go all the way to medical from heavy, This also includes if medical are not available to support in the current situation.
Allows E-11 CO's to keep themselves alive for longer so they can continue to give orders during CI raid's or SCP breach's.
Allows members of E-11 to stay alive longer during CI raids and SCP breach's without completely relying on medics and/or dispensers working all the time.
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
I genuinely see no negatives to this suggestion.
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
This suggestion should be accepted as it doesn’t stop e11 from having to interact with medics, it only helps prevent avoidable deaths in some scenarios.
Additionally the field kit they would receive does not have infinite uses thus medics would still be valued and requested in combat, this also means their is more of a need to restock ammo as it would restock the field kit.

While I don't agree with the Nu-7 medic job and the potential E-11 medic job, I think there shouldn't be an issue in giving CO/REGCOM a field kit...
Field kits are for emergencies, and with this, they would still be needing combat medics to heal/revive them during C1/C5 or raids.
Nu-7 COM job and NU-7 CO job both have field kits, and Nu-7 has a medic job already.

"But Nu-7 are on surface a lot and deal with CI" and E-11 are in HCZ a lot and also deal with CI

I do know that SOP leadership have field kits, which does include Nu-7 CO+, however they are also an MTF, which then brings into question the likelihood of other MTF's being given the same treatment.

"Just add a medic job" and "just call a medic" are just not very productive arguments to make, in my opinion. E-11's main job is to deal with SCP's so I suppose an argument could be made to add a medic job, but that's not what this suggestion is asking. And Nu-7 have every chance as well to just call a medic to heal them, and yet they have a medic job and two other jobs with field kits.

I think that it's more than fair to grant E-11 COM and CO jobs with a field kit considering the amount of dangerous situations they are put through and the (assumed) first aid experience that they would be trained with to handle the anomalies they guard, as well as any threats to them.
Neither of you will see heaven for these crimes against formatting

Just give us a damn E-11 medic ffs. We deal with some of the most bullshit deaths on site in an area with little dispensers and medical personnel.

To the people saying E-11 has an op kit, You are just wrong.
The K-Bar IS a good gun yes, But we have very limited officer slots. At most we will have 3-4.
The Karma-45 is next to unusable, The 90 is baller but we only have 2 and needs to be at point blank, The mauler is supposed to be anti SCP not human, and is a bitch to control, And the base gun (I forgot the name) is meh.

I really don't think any regiment has an "OP kit" (minus the PAC bombers but they get a pass)

Everyone has weapons that serve their purpose well but kinda sucks at anything else, as it should be.

The Raijin

It is a good gun, however too many people see an idea for E-11 getting something and think it'll be the end of the world. Breaches will always be stopped in 5 minutes! CI won't be able to get into HCZ!

They need to get real, +support. It's a field kit for COs which are a very limited number of people. In the grand scheme of things, it won't affect anyone to a noticeable degree - try asking some combat medics to heal and they'll look at you with the sainsburys meal deal stare. It'll be great for E-11 on the other end of the map.

I think E-11 should not get field kits

I am unsure why SOP leadership has them when they have the medic job, but I feel like it doesnt make sense for E-11 to have them. They already get good weapons, close spawns, and the dispenser is right there (the cooldown being the only thing stopping them from spamming field kits). The field kits would go unused outside of breaches anyway, while SOP at least combats CI constantly on surface.

Not a big fan of the E-11 Medic idea either, I feel like the E-11 gameplay loop is: Die to a breach > Respawn in HCZ > Die to a breach > Respawn in HCZ... I dont really see how the medic would be useful.

I don't know man, I am just not convinced.

Some seem to think this is completely unbalanced and will negativity affect everything.

It's just the field kit, the same one as you get in the dispenser, but the primary advantage is not waiting for the dispenser cooldown.

It feels perfectly reasonable for a E-11 officer to have one.

(It would be even better if the field kit didn't have such a long cooldown)

As stated this is also to do with when dispensers ard broken.
And im going to be 100% real, we fight CI all the time, ether in hcz when they are breaching something or when they are in site we also go and help with the Code 1 majority of the time, not to mention we still take damage from other things aswell for example with dclass and in other codes.

Nu7 Medic job is because Nu7 need a medic job due to the only other medics being deep into site. And the reason that SOP leadership has field kits is because CI also have field kits for their officers and Nu7 are made to mirror most of CI. This suggestion wasn't even asking for a medic job or a medic kit so I don't know why Nu7 medic is being compared to the other MTFS getting one. But thats besides the point,

I honestly thought all MTF Officer/Commander jobs already got Field Kits but I see no issue in this? It makes sense that a CL4 would know how to at least apply a basic medical application. I mean im not sure how much use it will have against a SCP that almost one shots the entire time but I honestly feel like this isnt a big ask. Honestly every MTF Officer/Commander should get the Field Kit.

Alot of scp do kill quick yes, but there are still cases where we do get away from them. And not to mention we deal with CI and Breaches at the same time whenever CI raid hcz.

my point of field kits only being useful for e11 during codes still stands.

So it gets used just the same as it would if not on e11. And yes it would still be used outside of codes where needed
yeah? thats the thing, you dont need field kits if their use case is only emergencies. Outside of combative situations you take away roleplay from medical by just using a field kit.
And also codes happen quite often so it wouldn't matter if it was only used in codes as that means it would be used a lot of the time
Not to mention the field kits are mostly used and ment for emergencies. So it would make logical sense if it was only required and used during codes
So get field kits from the dispensers during codes

e-11 got enough buffs fellas, no need for more.

It has been stated the this is also for when dispensers Are not working. This also doesn't take away from medics role play as they still play a major role in healing and keeping people alive. Medics also deal with a wider range of things other that just healing people. Such as: fixing fractures, preforming ects, surgery's and preforming evaluations. Give E-11 CO jobs a field kit is not going to take away from medics RP in the slightest
