What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Adds Weapon Checker to MTFs, DEA, UNGOC & CI Combative Jobs

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
Probably, but I'm making this regardless

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
Checking people for specific weapons & equipment is easier & actually possible
Can actually strip weapons off of hostages (using weapon strip bind isn't allowed, however there isn't any way around it)

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
Legit none, takes 20-30 Minutes to implement to every Job needed to have it

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
I believe Weapon checkers should be added to every Combative job within each of the three Factions as it increases players immersion when in Hostage & Captive RP, currently there is no way for another player to strip Weapons in RP as using "/me strips weapons" could be considered Power Gaming, Weapon Checkers are a core aspect of the server & should be given to the jobs listed above by default, this suggestion doesn't unbalance anything as it should have been this way initially.

I really like the idea of normalizing RP with gameplay elements. Weapon Stripping SHOULD be done with the tool, and not utilizing a /me. It helps prevent people just running up to some one and doing /me strips weapons in 2 seconds, and forces controlling it in a controlled roleplay environment.

I currently have an open ticket for UK asking if strip binds have to be in a controlled RP situation, which cuffing already needs to be. Waiting on a reply, because an unarmed person should not be able to just run up to me and strip me of everything and suddenly I can't fight back or call for help.

Ive always argued that the weapon stripping bind should be classified as powergaming. Pressing a single button and removing all of a persons "belongings, bodycam, chemicals, suicide devices, bleach, items, future, bank account information" has never really made sense to me.

I will also depict this one with British Colonial Troops in Aussieland, 1833.

British Officer : Charles, lad could you pat this one here down? Whole bunch o convicts getting dumped here today, need to move double time.

Colonial Garrison Soldier Charles : Ehh? Sir I seem to have forgotten how to check someone for possible stowaway items!

British Officer : What in the bloody hell are you yapping about?

Colonial Garrison Soldier James : Here let me try it.

*James attempts the pat down the convict in front of the officer.*

Colonial Garrison Soldier James : No go sir, I think we need a specialist over here, this is pretty complex. Oi, get over here Cromwell!

Australian Prison Camp Guard Cromwell : Oi, you need these one patted down? Here you go lad.

*Cromwell pats down the convict and finds… an improvised weapon taped to his back!*

Australian Prison Camp Guard Cromwell : He’s got a gun!

*The British Colonial Garrison all discharge their Baker rifles into the convict point blank, blowing 3 golf ball sized holes through him.*

British Officer : Good work lads, I’m glad one of you knew how to pat someone’s sides to see if they have a weapon, extremely complex stuff we are dealing with here.

So like yea, it doesn’t make sense that they wouldn’t know how to pat someone down. Give all combatives weapon checkers.

this is such a good story... + support anyways

Idrk about anything regarding this but I’m 40% sure a suggestion similar to this has been made a lot, mostly a1(?), and was denied so it’ll probably get partially accepted or I could just be wrong and it’s gonna get fully accepted so ima sit on a neutral.

Btw whoever decrypts this Necron image get 40k(lol) from me ingame. DM the translation and the work behind it to runic1900 if you do.9EE65153-84E1-4591-B1B6-6B57B785813D.jpeg

will be denied because it "takes away from the GSD Gameplay loop".

"Sir, we captured a CI in 008"
"Hold on, let me call a GENSEC all the way down to remove his weapons"
