What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Make a pistol a default loadout item for CL4 Non-Combatants. Currently, Non-Combatant CL4 staff is already permitted to carry a pistol on them for self defense purposes. At the moment this means they have to run to an armory upon spawning in every time to get said pistol. With this suggestion, they just spawn with it; A very simple quality of life change if you ask me!
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
Not since I have been in the server. Possibly before.
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
General Q.O.L. change for Non-Combatant L4 players.
Less 'clog' of multiple people running into the Medbay armory every time they die.
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
This will mean CL4's have readier access to firearms without having to take effort to get one.
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
I think the QOL aspect of this change greatly outreaches the negatives- CL4 Non-Coms can already get pistols from any armory and are allowed to carry them, so there's no real balance shift.
