What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Automatically kick people off of jobs and back to the main menu if they're marked AFK for a certain amount of time (say 5-10 minutes) AND they're on jobs that are:
I would suggest also fixing the bug where if you are kicked back to the main menu for being AFK as it is (i.e. on the D-class jobs), respawning back leaves you with all of the equipment you had before you were kicked - essentially teleporting you into D-block with all of your weapons and other items. I'm not 100% sure this glitch still exists, but it did at one point and I haven't heard anything about it being fixed.
This should also come with an updated warning for those that these new effects apply to.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
Not to my knowledge.

This would solve a few issues outlined above, and as long as the AFK system's AFK detection is improved a bit, this shouldn't cause any major issues.

- D-class
- Full or close to full (e.g. 4 out of 5 slots taken)
- A job that is used for a raid requirement or other requirement

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- For D-class players, they no longer get kicked back to the main menu and lose everything because they stood still a bit too long
- For raids, factions will no longer be raidable as a result of AFK players being on e.g. MTF or DEA jobs - if they go AFK too long, they get kicked off the job to give a more accurate reading of how ready they are for a raid for the requirements.
- This makes raids more fair. The requirements assume that all players on the specified roles are active and able to defend their base - this is not always the case, and other players shouldn't have to suffer because a couple of players are AFK on a job and it pushes their faction over the raid requirements when the server is on mid-pop.
- For everyone, the job kicking when a job is nearly full means that people can actually play different slot-limited jobs without being blocked because there's an AFK player on the job taking a slot.
- Yes, you can ask staff to kick people off jobs if they're AFK, but:
- You don't necessarily know if anyone is actually AFK to kick, so people usually don't ask
- People don't always realise this is an option, so people usually don't ask
- If someone isn't AFK, then this just wastes everyone's time
- People shouldn't have to call staff for everything. Automating this would do the job better and cause less problems.

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- People get kicked off their job for writing documents/being stonemanned/being metal cuffed/etc.
- This is an existing issue that should already be being addressed, and ideally should be addressed as part of the work for this. People already shouldn't be marked as AFK and being kicked from the server or bugged out just because the AFK system isn't good at detecting if a player is not AFK.
- That is part of what the delay before kicking is for - it gives people warning that they may be kicked from the job shortly and they should do something to avoid that
