Background
Agent logging background: [REDACTED] Supervisor: [REDACTED]
Sergeant Zeff is a current Foundation personnel who was recruited from a sarkist cult. He was born into a family of sarkic apostles who served under a powerful priest named [REDACTED]. He was indoctrinated into their beliefs and practices since childhood, and underwent several rituals to enhance his body and mind with sarkic magic. He rose through the ranks of the cult, becoming one of their most trusted and skilled members. He participated in many raids, kidnappings, sacrifices, and experiments that aimed to bring about the Ouroboros cycle, a cataclysmic event that would destroy the world and create a new one in sarkism’s image.
However, Zeff began to have doubts about his faith after witnessing the suffering and death of countless innocent people at the hands of his cult. He also learned that [REDACTED], the priest he followed, was secretly working with an enemy faction of sarkism that wanted to usurp the Ouroboros cycle for themselves. Zeff felt betrayed and disgusted by his leader’s treachery and cruelty, and decided to escape from the cult. He contacted the Foundation through an anonymous tip, offering them information on the cult’s activities in exchange for protection and asylum. The Foundation agreed, and sent a team to extract him from his location.
Zeff cooperated with the Foundation, providing them with valuable intelligence on the sarkist cult’s locations, members, anomalies, rituals, plans, and weaknesses. He also agreed to undergo debriefing, testing, therapy, and re-education to ensure his loyalty and stability. The Foundation recognized his potential as an asset, and offered him a position as an agent in their Global Security Directorate (GSD). Zeff accepted, hoping to use his skills and knowledge to fight against sarkism and other anomalous threats.
Zeff proved himself to be an effective agent in GSD, using his combat prowess, magical abilities, charisma, and leadership skills to complete various missions. He also made friends with some of his fellow agents, who respected him for his courage and honesty. However, [DATA LOST]
Missions attended:
Zeff also participated in one of the most dangerous and classified missions in the Foundation’s history: the containment of SCP-██████, an Apollyon-class anomaly that threatened to end the world. SCP-██████ was a massive entity that resembled a twisted and distorted version of the Earth, with various anomalous phenomena and creatures on its surface. It was located in a parallel dimension that was accessible through a portal in the Antarctic. SCP-██████ was hostile to all life forms, and attempted to invade and destroy the Earth by sending its minions through the portal. The Foundation deployed several MTF units, including Zeff’s MTF-E11, to enter the portal and secure SCP-██████.
Zeff and his team were tasked with infiltrating SCP-██████’s core, where its main consciousness resided. They had to fight their way through hordes of hostile entities, environmental hazards, and reality-bending effects. Zeff used his sarkic magic and combat skills to protect his team and eliminate any threats. He also used his knowledge of sarkism to recognize and counter some of the anomalies that were related to sarkic cults or rituals. He managed to reach the core with only two other survivors from his team.
The core of SCP-██████was a massive sphere of flesh and metal, surrounded by tendrils and wires. Zeff and his team planted several explosive charges on the sphere, hoping to destroy it and weaken SCP-██████. However, before they could detonate them, they were attacked by SCP-██████itself, which manifested as a giant humanoid figure made of flesh, metal, and fire. SCP-██████recognized Zeff as a former sarkic apostle, and taunted him for his betrayal and weakness. It also claimed to be the true Ouroboros cycle, and offered him a chance to join it and become part of a new world.
Zeff refused, and engaged SCP-██████ in combat. He used his remaining spells and weapons to fight against SCP-██████, but was quickly overpowered by its superior strength and size. He suffered severe injuries from SCP-██████'s attacks, including losing an arm and an eye. He realized that he had no chance of defeating SCP-██████, but he still had one last option: he activated the explosive charges on the sphere, sacrificing himself and his team to destroy SCP-██████'S core.
The explosion caused a massive shockwave that rocked SCP-██████'S dimension. The portal to Earth collapsed, cutting off any further invasion attempts. SCP-██████’s consciousness was severely damaged by the blast, rendering it dormant and unable to act. The Foundation declared SCP-██████as contained, albeit at a high cost of lives and resources.
Zeff was posthumously awarded the Foundation Star for his bravery and sacrifice. He was hailed as a hero by his fellow agents and supervisors, who praised him for his loyalty and dedication. His file was updated with his final mission report, and his name was added to the Foundation’s memorial wall.
