What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Food Chute/dispenser
my idea: food chute would be a interact able machine located in kitchen. Were chefs would be able to put cooked food they made. In and set their price margin from $1 to at most $500. If anyone want a quick meal, they go to it and buy something. it would also be cool with could have a displayable one we could manly place around the site.
MY Balancing
* must be at lvl 10+ in cooking to access
* Food must be average+
* has to be homemade food
- if possible, make it the only food you can put in. Is food you made from the stove itself. Don't want people getting free money. from scavenging food on the surface. You have to work for this. Also don't include simple things like cooked meat
* Food would decay over a period of time
- food put would be disappear around 1 - 2 hours. food can't display forever especially not in a sealed place
* The chute would become empty ever reset/crash
* People of higher power or authority can remove food
- The Uk server has a position of head chef. so, they could be ones to do this mostly. The others being staff and i guess people with clearance lvl 4. That think the chefs aren't putting in health food or something along with that.
Food Receipt cork Board (imagine a cork board)/ The belly of the beast (i'll describe this down below) quests

My idea for the food receipt: The main premise is like any other quest system. but instead of a npc it would be a cork board. that would display receipts of things. The fiction existing player would want. Ranging from anything that is made from the stove not including cyanide.
My Balancing
* the player would always be paid $250 or 300 more of what you spent
- ok let me explain this. if there was a quest of three items of whatever. The quest would calculate all the ingredients it would cost to make.
for Example: If the quest wanted 1x pancake, 1x omelet, and 1x coffee. If would take all ingredients costs and add them up
Pancakes = $70
Omelet = $50
Coffee = $40
in total being 160 so it would take that number and add either 250 or 300. So, for completing the quest you would earn either $410 or 460. So, this way you're always hitting a profit margin. You could do the same for support xp or keep baseline
* The food displayed on the receipt is how much the devs want the max to be.
- if the player wants to experience working a kitchen. They could choose one with more than 3 food.
* the quest would not take in account you over buying or making a mistake
- the reward would always be set of the amount there.
* All food must be average+ to get the reward money
* a karma/reputation system
- I was thinking if you were to turn in a quest with bad quality food or miss the deadline. If you were to fail to many quests you lose the access to quests. For at least a while until the foundation gains your trust again.
Or this
my idea for the belly of the beast: this one would hard to explain but the same as above. So looking at the two imagine my premise would have been this. Instead of a cord board there would be a scary hole/chute replaced. And the chefs' jobs would to be to always send food down into it. Whenever the thing down below ever wanted certain things to consume.
MY balancing - everything is the same just want to add onto things
* Better rewards
- if you were complete the quest with ever food being excellent. The beast would reward the chef whatever. was thrown down below that wasn't food.
* Blood pact
- its the same the karma/reputation idea but instead being only being denied access to the quest. You would also now have another addiction like the chef would die failing to many times. or the beast would take all your hungry to 0 plus preventing you from eating and decreasing hp to 1.
now for the illness i want to just suggest two things you choose
* every time you eat something raw like flour, butter, raw meat etc.. You have an increased chanced of getting bacterial infection. You could also get the effect by eating not properly made. Being anything under average quality burnt food having higher chance.
* add a new illness related to food being commonly known as Salmonella.
- one of the symptoms of salmonella is dehydrate. So when you catch this your green bar would go down. making you un-able to run and insanely thirsty. furthermore, you would slowly lose health to abdominal pain. The only cure being Saline.

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- more ways for chefs to earn money staying in the kitchen. without having the leave that far. Also until the sell prices on the npc gets its rework.
- more engaging cheif rp in a way.
- the people who just eats raw things all day gets punished |
-
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- Massive dev time
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
after grinding chef from lvl 1 to 30 the thing i have always hated. is overall the lack of engagement and incentive to make food. Thats why i liked the kitchen in dblock so much. because of the hatch their and its not because of supplying dclass guns. its because even though i never really earned money. I liked the premise of being in one place and providing food. Even greater is the fact if i didn't want to feed dclass i could give it gensec. since they were so close by. Listen i don't hate ez kitchen i just hate the vibe about it. Since you get piss poor money from the npc. your kind of required to leave the kitchen. including the fact food just builds up in your inventory. Its awesome once in a while personally orders a request either in comms or person. But realistically if you see someone come into the kitchen. they'll will just buy mri or anything that provides hungry. For the illness pretty much add more realism to eating food. <- please add the illness
