For how long have you played on CG SCP: About three and a half weeks
Age:18
In what country are you located?: Canada
Time zone: MST
Character name(s): Amanda Brown
Civilian name: Dr. Amanda Brown
What server are you applying for? (SCP-RP UK or SCP-RP USA): USA
Do you have a mic?:
-yes
List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have
-None as I have focused all my time in the server to research roles
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?:
-I've received a few warnings for my name and one for fail rp when i was a jr
Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?
-I am applying for executive researcher for a more in-depth RP and leadership position . I take great pride in all my work and have greatly enjoyed my time in the research division. I wish to get this position so I can continue to mentor and lead the newer members of the research division with a greater capacity while also learning more about the bureaucratic side of RP. With a higher place in the facility I believe I'd be able to make a difference in the quality of all the Jr. Researchers by mentoring them and allowing them to understand what they're role is in RP. During my time as a Sr. Researcher I have found a passion for reading and creating research style documents, and teaching the new researchers how to properly create documents so they can become high ranking researchers brings me great joy.
What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?:
-I've been very interested in the research division of the server since I found it. I'm also on the server fairly often although it's been a little hard to stay on for long hours due to finals coming up. I've improved my writing during my time in the research division greatly and have just finished one of my first excellent-graded documents. As well I am a very good mentor and trainee and have taught many many researchers about the position they hold by going on joint experiments, answering all they're questions to my greatest ability. I'm also currently focusing on the chemical/sample side of the research and am currently doing a large experiment on chemical trials involving hard to make chemicals and ever since I've made Sr. Researcher I've never gone below a good grade document. I believe allowing me to become a executive research will greatly benefit the foundation and the server as a whole. I will use my position to make the server function at a greater efficiency and hopefully make it easier of the new researchers by mentoring them through they're decisions. I have also recently been brought in on the stonewall project and I will use this opportunity to work to save CL. 4 and above lives to create a better foundation and a better workplace for all members.
How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?
-I've created one as of right now but I'm making progress to create more. The higher quality the document the easier it is for whoever is reading it to understand. The title of the current excellent graded doc is a chemical trial involving multiple chemicals but mainly focusing on amnestics and they're effects on D-Class personal. Making a document excellent means that it must include concise, grammatical, punctual, and professional explanation of what went on during your test. In my personal opinion, I believe adding heart to your document will further make the document excellent. Barely attempting to follow proper formatting and protocols in document creation is usually a sign of lack of motivation, as the best documents in the records will have passion for the test performed with a sense of professionalism. This shows the brightest parts of a researcher’s ability to the foundation. The more dedicated a researcher is, the more potential they have to excel in their duties. Documents should still have a list of participants, materials used, and above all clearance cited and signed for within the research division guidelines.
What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?:
-Executive researcher is an extremely sought after position in the foundation. Therefor all executive researchers must understand the role that they play and the responsibility that comes with being in such an important command role . The most notable responsibilities would have too be they're role as and enforcer of site rules, regulations and ethics issues that may come up during they're time. It's also important to understand they're role as mentors and teachers of newer research staff, this includes answering all they're questions, following them during tests and making sure that they understand and thoroughly know all regulations and codes of conduct that may apply to them. Some of the other responsibilities are the authorization of safe testing, grading documents, and keeping all research personnel safe and on the path to further success. Doing all of this will increase moral and productivity of the foundation, as that is the role of the Executive Researcher.
Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Amanda Brown was first born in a tiny fishing town the freezing north of Nunavut, Canada to a small Inuit family. During her early years she was taken by the mounted police and placed in a residential school just off the cost of the Hudson Bay, more then 500km away from her home. This school was named Chesterfield Inlet, or as her and her classmates called it Turquetil Hall. During this stay she was given the name Amanda Brown, she has since forgotten her real name, birthplace, language and nearly all members of her family. The only good thing to come out of her stay at this school was her newly discovered fascination with science and the occult. Once she left Turquetil Hall she moved away from Nunavut and began school in the University Of Manitoba where she then learned an extensive background in science, Biology and the occult studies. Soon after she wrote her first paper proving the existence of anomalous matter the foundation took notice of her and hired her as a part of the chemical research team in site 17 where after two years of getting nowhere with her work she requested too be moved too the site we're at now. Site 65.
