What makes you the best candidate for Ethics Committee Assistant?:

-I believe I am fit to become an ECA, evident from my experience in O1. I am knowledgeable regarding the FLC, and from escorting ECAs, I have a good understanding of what they do and how they respond to other departments. While I might not have a lot of experience regarding CL4 positions, I am open-minded and willing to learn from criticism to grow and improve.

What are the responsibilities of Ethics Committee Assistants in RP?
:

Completing orders requested by ECM/ECC.
Investigating other departments to ensure they run smoothly.
Interacting with O1 and offering them activities to do while ECM/ECC aren't present.
Interacting with other departments on behalf of ECM/ECC.
Writing documents about active events that are important and occurred on-site while ECM/ECC weren't present.

Please give some lore about your Ethics Committee Assistant character and what storylines they would be involved in:

"Asura," real name {REDACTED}, was raised in a third-rate country as an orphan. His parents' names and whereabouts were never found, though he lived in poverty. To make ends meet, he had to break many laws, but he was able to get away with it. One day, he messed with the wrong group, trying to steal from a mercenary group. Unknown to him at the time, he was caught trying to escape the mercenary camp. While he thought it was over for him, the leader of the group came up to him and was impressed with how he was able to almost escape without anyone noticing. So, he gave him two choices: either death or joining the mercenary group. Asura wanted to survive and live; he was never the type to back down, so he decided to join.

At the time, he didn't know the nature of the group, which did odd jobs commissioned by weird organizations. Then, finally, the mission came that would change his whole life. They were commissioned by Anderson Robotics to collect anomalous metal from an SCP site. It was supposed to go smoothly, but someone had already tipped off the SCP Foundation about the mission. When they entered, they were met with gunfire. Luckily, Asura was able to survive, and the SCP Foundation decided to make him a D-Class after many tests were done to him. He finally became aware of the unknown and anomalous nature of this world.

On an unfortunate day, he heard on the announcement system that a containment breach had occurred and that a failure was detected within D-Block doors. While going out of D-Block to check what was happening, he saw a gun in the corner of his eye, and when he looked up ahead, he saw SCP-173. He picked up the gun and started emptying his magazine at 173. Luckily, this was witnessed by the site administration through the cameras, and they were impressed with how fearlessly he acted and his quick reaction. After the breach was recontained, he was called to the office of site administration, and they decided to deploy him as a new private in MTF Nu7.

After many years of working for the SCP Foundation, Omega-1 saw how loyal he was and decided to recruit him into their regiment. There, he was told about the actual work of the Ethics Committee, and he was impressed by how efficient they are. While working for the Ethics Committe he started to idolize them and look up to them and always wanted to help them to the best of his powers. After many years of being in Omega-1 and being loyal to the Committee, on one fateful day, he was called to the Ethics Committee offices.

You're a lovely fella, and you've got a great amount of experience as an O-1 CO. Meaning you understand the inner working of Ethics and interact with it's members and assistants regularly. I think you'd be great in this role.

Best of luck, Asura.

O1 Prosecutors and using them for tribunals were primarily my thing for as long as I can remember, Asura is the first person to take it upon on himself to learn all of this thoroughly and correctly; more than deserves the assist role purely out of his effort in that regard and his sense of initiative/willing to learn.

Asura is a fantastic person to work with and I've seen his entire journey in O-1 (which I hope it doesn't end soon).
He’s always trying to improve and help, it would certainly be a good ECA.
