What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
This suggestion would add an automatic toggle for teslas to turn off when no C5/4/3 is called after 10+ minutes of the code being declared concluded (content team can decide, that was just a number I thought of thinking about the suggestion).

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
Using the forums' awkward advanced search, I have not been able to find this being suggested before

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- Lower casualty rates to the biggest threat to foundation personnel, server lag and teslas being left on
- Less rewarding the site for leaving teslas on 24/7
- Less need to try and find a CL4 to turn them off during non-C3/4/5 times
- More incentive to check teslas at the start of a C5/4/3 being called (there have been times teslas have been off for tens of minutes in a breach because no one checked)

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- 008 tests will need an extra E-11 to make sure teslas are on throughout the test
- Low pop breach balance affected, although I'd support this feature being active based on server population

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
Teslas are left on like, a LOT. It's not only a pain when playing as SCP as foundation are rewarded for leaving them on 24/7, but they are also a pain for humans. D class dying to them while cuffed, server lag deciding it's your time to die in a tesla, a traffic jam of people getting past a tesla, it feels really unfun to die to a tesla that shouldn't be on (following IC policy at least) or lose d class due to the guard not being careful enough. It can also be played in the IC aspect of saving costs - why have the tesla on when there's no SCP threat? Why waste the money on the electricity and risk the (questionable with where they work) safety of foundation personnel?

This suggestion I believe would be a QOL addition that would save people time and frustration.

Bonus clip of the tesla remembering it's a pitbull named princess

I'm not good at writing this part really. That's the suggestion!

there is no downside to F for constantly leaving teslas on and only positives to doing so; it's an imbalanced feature, weighted heavily against SCPs and GOIs, to the point where it's the norm rather than the exception - you'd expect this to be addressed via RP, but it seems that the way it's structured right now, RP leadership are not wont to do anything about this as really this boils down to being an extra thing to tend to, for no good reason - over something that would otherwise be interesting and engaging to do.

i think teslas need looking into at some point; look at this as a mechanic and what it is doing to both the gameplay and roleplay environments, look into how it could be less of a free boon for F to just have, as these are significant parts of both the map and gameplay of all factions.

maybe also consider how other things can relate to this? perhaps consider changing another existing mechanic to be a punishment for constantly leaving teslas on - random blackouts, instead of just randomly happening, only randomly happen while teslas are on (as a result of power being used for tesla causing brownouts or smth, because even though the facility is powered by reactors, that's still a lot of electric to be sending to one small place, very quickly - so this is reasonable) and conversely when teslas are off, random blackouts can never happen.
