What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Adds a Tank the Chaos Insurgency or Increases the damage that vehicles take from Anti-Armor, making it easier for land forces to deal with vehicles on surface.

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
I'd this to effect both sides to make vehicle combat more fair and balanced for factions within the server ecosystem.

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
The positives of the suggestion to add more effective AA are to make surface combat more rewarding and fair, removing vehicle dominance on both sides, allowing for less situations where one side can camp a vehicle and make the ability to take them out easier. The Suggestion to add a CI Tank would also even out the playing field between the two factions, allowing CI and SOP to be on a even playing field in terms of fire power.

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
Make AA more effective could reduce the amount of vehicle used overall if they are too easy/quick to destroy and not necessarily making it worth it to use them. The addition of a tank could create stalemates where both sides are sitting in tanks and using that instead of the other vehicles.

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
This suggestion should be accepted because it would even out SOP and CI, making them both on equal footing in terms of vehicle fire power and also, making them easier to deal with because of the increase in damage they take from Anti-Armor, making vehicles be strong but not dominate in surface combat.

the leopard for foundation is extremely hard to combat, while yes, skill plays into it, its still incredibly unbalanced. Maraurders can fracture people in dimension and completely destroys the CI warfund equivalent. CI simply doesn't have enough good vehicles to combat those of the foundation, and can't outcompete in buying them either, with our missions yielding overall not nearly as much as the foundation. While CI could generate far more warfunds by taking them for kidnaps instead of cash, why would they? They can't buy anything amazing, and it doesn't stack up to Foundation/GOC anyways.

My opinion is that Chaos Insurgency should remain just that. An Insurgency, that's what makes fighting CI fun IMO. The Asymmetric nature of it leads to more unique combat.
I am of the opposite opinion to the suggestion here, I think CI should be weakened to push them to perform more unique insurgent tactics opposed to being another army.
I would be in favor of more unique anti armor weapons, IED's, SPG-9 in the back of a Toyota Hilux, VBIED's that type of thing.


Beyond my opinions on how CI should work, I think the damage rocket launchers already do is reasonable and doesn't need changing.
 
So from what I’ve seen in the changelogs in the SCP-RP discord the surface vehicles have been frequently changed, and buffed/nerfed as they have been added recently.
