What makes you the best candidate for Ethics Committee Assistant?:
I have had a lot of experience working along side the Ethics Committee, and hope to further my assistance with an official position. I have had excessive experience throughout Internal Affairs and as Director, I already work close with Ethics, if not closer than anyone else does, outside of ISD. I have written numerous reports and training videos concerning The Code Of Ethics. I take the concept of ethics very seriously, and I have had the ability to zealously enforce the Code of Ethics as Director of Internal Affairs. I do not wish to leave my position as Director, instead, I strive to allow myself to take on more work and duties to help enforce the Code Of Ethics even further than before. Holding the position of Ethics Assistant alongside Director of Internal Affairs would allow me to work with both roles in tandem to achieve a higher level of success.
What are the responsibilities of Ethics Committee Assistants in RP?:
For starters, completing whatever task is appointed to you by any Ethics Committee Member. As Assistant, your first duty is to follow the namesake and assist the Ethics Committee in any way you can. Anything from Writing reports to investigating cases, expect to be assigned tasks that lighten the work load of the Committee, allowing them to do their job more effectively. In the case of absence of any Committee Members, it is our duty to authorize and dictate the actions of the MTF regiment Omega-1. We command and order O-1 to carry out Bag-And-Tag missions, VIP protection positions, Raids, Riots, or general "hush-hush" situations like Information Breaches and Interrogations. The overall goal of an Ethics Committee Assistant is to help make the jobs of their bosses as easy as possible, and to fill the large shoes in their absence.
Please give some lore about your Ethics Committee Assistant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Barry is an Irish immigrant who climbed the ranks of the CIA, and became a well known detective. Barry was met by mysterious men looking for Agents to perform highly classified tasks. Barry accepted his invitation, and started as a GenSec Cadet and shortly became an Officer and received his RRT license. After he became more experienced, he got the title of Agent, and started his mission to stop unethical behavior in the Foundation. Barry will be involved with as much as he will be allowed to and will continue taking cases and pursuing those who do the Foundation harm. Barry was promoted to Ambassador and continued to work on his reports until he was summoned by The Ethics Committee. As he arrived, the complimented the work he had done and offered him temporary control of the Internal Affairs Department. Barry accepted and has used his new role to go even farther beyond the call of duty. His work, effort, and knowledge have all increased tenfold, but so has his enjoyment. Barry participated in Heavy Weapons Training, along with many GenSec members, and scored higher on the test than any other attendee. Barry now holds the official position of Director of Internal Affairs, and is currently strengthening and bolstering his Department. Barry has spent a lot of time with his bosses in the Ethics Committee, and decided to apply for a more serious position within their ranks. Barry will use this newfound role to help bolster his Department even more effectively than before, and carry out missions and tasks for his bosses to enforce the Code of Ethics upon those who seek to violate it.
