How long have you been a Senior Agent for?
- Recently came back from being out of state, I've been a Sr. Agent since atleast 2024. (I asked permission to make this application since I've been inactive due to personal reasons, however I can now be active again and have been a Sr. Agent for much more then 2 weeks in total.)
Why are you applying for Special Agent?
Special Agent feels like a good way to gain experience in CL4 positions, and I enjoy doing DEA roleplay. DEA has been one of my favorite departments on the server ever since I started playing Civil and got trained for the department, so I want the chance to help lead the department and train new players for DEA to enjoy themselves as much as I did. In my time as a Sr. Agent, I have learned much about DEA and SOP as a whole. I also enjoy leadership.
What makes you suitable for Special Agent?:
I believe I am suited for Special Agent due to my experience in other servers and my time on Civil Networks. I've been in heavy roleplay and leadership positions (GOC 1SGT and Diplomat), and as a Sr Agent I have aided multiple new players on DEA on how to deal with situations outside of their control. I believe my time in RP positions and my time in DEA as a whole has shown I am suitable for Special Agent.
How many documents have you written? What makes a document good?: I've written dozens of documents in my time in CI and GOC, although none of them have been uploaded to the terminals as they have all gone into archives or the postboards. Good documents should have:
Clear grammar
Minimal to no spelling mistakes
Clear wording that shows you understand the concept
Proper format
Obvious effort, not just thrown together in a few minutes.
Hand-written without generative AI use.
Professional conduct in the document
What are the responsibilities of the Special Agent in RP?:
Special Agents are the direct chain of command for most of DEA, so they deal with questions and guiding Agents and Sr. Agents.
They authorize MC&D to enter and give permits.
They train new members of DEA to become agents.
They host Senior Agent tryouts.
They are expected to work with other departments in codes and raids.
And if needed, they are expected to authorize AA use during breaches.
Please give some lore about your Special Agent character and what storylines they would be involved in: Born in a small rural town in Texas, Helen 'Dice' Garmer was raised in a military family. She joined her ROTC as a gateway to the military, joining the Army as soon as they graduated high school, she volunteered for the RASP. Once passing, now a member of the 75th Ranger Regiment, years later being decorated with multiple tours in the middle east. During one of her tours in the middle east, she was exposed to an anomaly on a mission, that led to her being found by Foundation Operatives and hired to work in the Department of External Affairs. During her time in the DEA she dealt with multiple Chaos Insurgency raids and captured a few Insurgents. And now, she is a Senior Agent working at Site-65.
