I could not find where it lists ddos threats as a server offense

What will you do to stop this from happening again: It was a stupid joke and I wouldn't ever try to ddos the server and I wouldn't know how to in the first place. It was said in an admin sit so I did not believe it carried much meaning I am very sorry for saying it and it will never happen again.

Prior to this, have you ever been warned/kicked/banned?
Of this time I do not believe I have any active warns although I can not check because I am banned
I was banned long ago in 2022 for three days it had something to do with rdm and failrp I was new to the server

Why should you be unbanned: Server is very fun compared to other gmod servers and im not active as I once was but I still like to get on the server from time to time and have some fun.

How can you ensure that you won't break any other rule?: I believe in second chances and I know I can rejoin the server and not break rules like this.

Why do you want to rejoin this server?: Like I said its very fun to play on very enjoyable experience.

The staff punishment guide is public. You said if we warned you, you would ddos the server. This was the reason you were banned.

The staff punishment guide is buried deep into the forums and primarily used by staff. Most people don't know where to find it or just don't know it exists. I do apologize for saying I was going to ddos the server it was stupid but I think it was clear that I was saying it as a joke which I understand now is not acceptable. I just don't believe that a 4 week ban is justifiable considering it was said in an admin sit to 3 people.

Thanks for taking the time to make a ban appeal.

After looking into this situation I deem this necessary for denial due to the fact that DDOS Threats should never be joked around regardless of the situation. We as a staff team have to enforce stuff within the punishment guidelines and to make sure the server is safe and no harm is shown or threatened.

You may re-appeal in 1 week.​
