Why are you applying for Security Captain?:
Because I have spent a lot of time in GENSEC as RRT and SGT, I have enjoyed my time and feel that I can and should try to go further with my duties. I feel that captain is a good entry level 4 job that highlights my abilities and maturity on the server. I also wish to keep D-Block secure to manage and uphold the procedures and the responsibilities of the other GENSEC in order to create an ethical and effective D block. I have noticed a large amount of untrained and unethical GENSEC cadets who need retraining and told the do’s and don'ts of D block. As security captain I could help these people and train them to be an effective GENSEC. Therefore reflecting better upon D-Block, Captains and GENSEC chiefs. I feel that I could help restore some of the professionalism of Dblock and GENSEC and teach people of the rules and responsibilities of GENSEC which it needs when there is a big influx of new players.
What makes you suitable for Security Captain?:
Due to my ability to lead effectively and my knowledge of the rules of Gensec and RRT as well as the Code of ethics, Codex and server rules. I am knowledgeable and have the ability to lead and take charge when D-Block becomes unruly and to bring it back to order. I also can effectively lead a sweep to subdue rioting d class and confiscate all weapons and contraband. My ability to give firm instructions to personnel who are behaving incorrectly. I Believe that these qualities combined make me a good pick for GENSEC captain. I also feel that I am approachable and easy going meaning that other GENSEC can approach me if they have problems, as well as give feedback for GENSEC. I also feel I have a unique oppurtunity due to my timezone, this means i am online at off peak and peak times meaning I can host tryouts and or service D block when other Captains are asleep which some applicants cannot.
What are the responsibilities of the Security Captain in RP?:
The responsibilities of a captain is to ensure that all areas of D-Block and GENSEC personnel are behaving in accordance with the ethical code and server rules. They are also responsible for enhancing the combat readiness of GENSEC through various trainings of RRT and HWL. GENSEC captains are also responsible for calling out threats to the facility through the announcement system of codes 1-5 and assembling GENSEC in accordance with the code and ensure they know their roles. This also means making sure that all GENSEC know their role and responsibilities during no and all codes. This also means ensuring there are adequate people in each D-Block area including watchtower, airlock and research area. They are also entrusted with being ethical, mature, active. This means taking any unethical GENSEC to IA when needed and reporting minging GENSEC people. GENSEC CPT also has a CL4 meaning they can close LV4 doors to protect the facility and its personnel.
