HAVE YOU MET THIS KIND OF PLAYER? Either nasally or monotone in voice. No amount of quizzes or tryouts stops him from rushing the same meat grinder. Hes the reason a few GMs I know use UK instead of US. If an SCP dares not to be a 100% murder machine? Whines or calls an admin. Hell some stories I've heard this guy won't even respond to most attempts at normal conversation. Sometimes he'll do everything he can to make sure somebody dies or gets arrested. The IA who looks for every reason to arrest you, the anti-RP MTF, the KOS civ guy, ETC.
The grim reaper of RP fun. Now I was thinking well why the hell are these people so damn common? What makes them appear?
Then, boom.
THESE MFS ARE STILL CADETS AND D-BOYS!
I have a theory that d-block is like a psychological cornerstone for the player base. D-block is on the character select screen, the first thing you log into, scouts attract experienced players. Its a center of consistent almost 24/7 combat. Research and GENSEC revolve around it yet people scoff at it getting more content or roles. A good chunk of players are in it most of the time. Most importantly it's the first thing new players are thrown into, which is TDM. Its a very fun TDM if im being honest, but it breeds the initially described "that guy".
This 24/7 insanity is in the player bases psyche, gotta get chilled.

I've heard a lot of suggestions about chilling d-block out while still letting d-boys have fun ranging from:
-Scrap trader stripping
-A 30 min break between gun openings
- A full on overhaul, creating quality over quantity for riots https://www.civilgamers.com/communi...-progress-riot-rework.10417/page-2#post-68948
