What makes you the best candidate for Overseer Assistant?:
I believe I am the best candidate due to my experience as an OSA, where I managed to carry out orders effectively and worked alongside A-1 in their duties. Another reason why I am the best candidate is my experience in SA, where I have been a liaison for departments, worked with GOIs and a lot more. But I have not just gained experience; I also have skills I picked up along the way, such as Document writing, leadership, teamwork, and much more. All of which are perfect skills for an OSA.
What are the responsibilities of Overseer Assistants in RP?:
- Approving Documents.
- Enforce the orders of the O5 Council around the site.
- Authorise AA when no SA is present.
- Authorise a sweep of D Block.
- Work with A-1 to complete certain tasks
- Can give D-class work permits.
- Observe various areas around the site and report.
- Interview various departments.
- Carry out investigations that the council assigns.
Why do you wish to become an Overseer Assistant?:
I wish to become an assistant, mainly to create some RP that I can't do on SA. But also to help O5 and A1 with any tasks needed. As I do miss that when I used to be an OSA. Another reason why I wish to become an OSA is to try and see if there is anything else I can learn. But mostly to create more RP and to take more tasks off the O5's plate.
Please give some lore about your Overseer Assistant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Brayan Murry started work with the SCP Foundation in quiet determination and eagerness for adherence to procedure. He began as an Investigator. Reports about his abilities soon surfaced that he was the man who could see those patterns most usually missed by others, piecing together scattered reports, cross-referencing records, and spotting inconsistencies. When properly addressed, this would indicate much deeper problems within operations. Senior staff noticed his detailed work and calm disposition; he was promoted to Inspector within a few years.
In that position, Murry started getting famous for his calm ways of resolving extremely volatile situations. When conflicts between departments became intense, he could act as a mediator without pushing any side away from him, and thus earn the trust of Security Officers and Research Directors on both sides. His balanced approach to enforcement — firm when necessary but always rooted in fairness — made him a valuable asset. He finally got an appointment as Commissioner, in which he was supposed to have oversight over several departments simultaneously. It is at this point that he came up with the notion that leadership works best when it supports rather than controls those under its care.
