For how long have you played on CG SCP: 603 hours
Age: 16
In what country are you located?: United Kingdom
Time zone: BST
Character name(s): Brian Hatake (F), Brian Uchiha (CI)
Civilian name: Brian Hyuga
What server are you applying for? (SCP-RP UK or SCP-RP USA): SCP-RP UK
Do you have a mic?:
Yes
List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held:
E-11 CPL, NU-7 SPC, CI BCOM
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?:
- Basecamping - I sniped an nu-7 guard on the watch tower - July 15th
- Hitbox abuse - I jumped + crouched (genuine mistake I wasn't aware of while I was still new) - July 4th
- Toxicity/severe toxicity - told someone "**** you **** head after he threatened to kill me after I locked him out of the elevator as revenge then messaged him on discord and continued being rude" (severe toxicity appeal was accepted) - June 30th
(All expired)
What makes you the best candidate for Ethics Committee Assistant?:
There are definitely better candidates out there however I feel I am among the few who are suitable for the role for the following reasons:

- I'm extremely active
- I have sufficient leadership experience due to different roles I've played in leading Gensec as a Sergeant while Captains were absent. I also have leadership experience on large scales as a BCOM within CI.
- I have a good understanding of the Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct
- I have a lot of free time
- I'm approachable and willing to provide support to everyone
- I am patient and understanding of others
- I can help create fun roleplay for everyone
- I can easily adjust my time to equally focus on this position, my CI role and staff position
- I'm dedicated towards anything that involves me

What are the responsibilities of Ethics Committee Assistants in RP?:
The main responsibilities of Ethics Committee Assistants is to assist the Ethics Committee in their duties and follow their orders. They also ensure that the Code of Conduct/Ethics is being followed and occasionally enforces them if IA are unavailable. I also believe it is important that Ethics Committee Assistants give Omega-1 plenty of chances to have an enjoyable roleplay experience within their time being in the MTF as without them, their job could be boring.
Please give some lore about your Ethics Committee Assistant character and what storylines they would be involved in:

STORYLINE:

SCP-049 Log

It was August 12th, SCP-049 breached containment at site-65 and infected multiple foundation personnel including Brian Hatake. SCP-049 made his way to D-Block where Brian Hatake made a sacrifice to defeat SCP-049 however was saved at medbay. He was being watched by the Ethics Committee as a potential recruit as an assistant where this event made them decide he was a good candidate

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

START LOG:
E11: SCP-049 has breached containment and is headed to D-Block! Stay safe, don't get yourselves hurt!
BH: Understood!
*SCP-049 arrives at D-Block*

BH: I'm not gonna let you harm anyone
*SCP-049 is already low and attempts entry into CDC where Gensec and D-Class are hiding*
*Brian Hatake blocks entrance into CDC*

049: I must cure the pestilence, get out of my way
BH: I can't let you in here, they are not infected
049: I'm gonna have to take you along with them if you don't move
*Brian Hatake lets off a grenade near himself and 049 causing 049 to go unconscious*
*Brian Hatake wakes up inside a mystery room where all his injuries were tended to*
BH: Where am I.... what is going on?
EC: You were saved, we would like to thank you for your excellent performance, you saved a lot of lives with your sacrifice
BH: Thank you
EC: We would also like to offer you a position within the Ethics Committee, are you interested? We have noticed your performance and have deemed you are worthy

I didn’t have interactions with you, from what I recall, besides that, you did not hold any CL4 position (yet) within the foundation. Going straight to ethics assistant, witch could be assigned to overlooking other departments and MTFs, seems a bit of a jump within foundation hierarchy. I highly suggest first getting CL4 experience within a department or commissioned officer within a MTF. Your description of the job and responsibilities are well written, but your lore could also use a refreshment. The 049 section would seem highly impossible. However, you seem dedicated and active, your staff rank and BCOM rank show that you are mature and professional enough to hold an assistant job. I wouldn’t mind you getting it, but your current foundation experience is lacking in my point of view.

Good luck!

Hello, I understand I don't hold any cl4 positions but don't let this bring down your thoughts on me, I have a clear understanding of how the facility runs and works however yes I agree having cl4 experience could be useful but I think I am capable. I've got experience with overlooking departments (CI) and believe I perform well at it.

Lore: I completely agree with you, this is probably the worst section of my application. I tried my hardest with it and it was my first time writing lore which I'm not the best at.

Thank you for your feedback! :)

Hello everyone, I have now achieved a CL4 role however this does not mean I am experienced since I have only received it today, but it's there. (Security Captain trial)

Thank you all for the feedback.

+ Good interactions and never had an issue with you.
+ Capable of the role.

- Lore could be better however I don’t see why something so simple should dictate a verdict on such application.

Overall I’m more than sure Brian could handle the role of being an Ethics Assistant, good luck with the application!

The Ethics Committee Verdict Report
REGARDING: Brian's application for a position as Ethics Committee Assistant.
───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

Thank you for showing your interest in the position of Ethics Committee Assistant, the committee agrees that you are not best suited to be an assistant.

Your application is fine and you have somewhat support from the community. The issue is we'd like to see some experience within managing the foundation within a department. We apologise how long it took for a response.

Once again, The Ethics Committee appreciates the time and effort you put into your application. You may re-apply in two weeks.

Signed and Approved
