What does this suggestion change/add/remove?
lower the debuff to the damage or change the prices.

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?: I don’t believe this has been suggested before

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2): Will make a true use for suppressors in combat and also a way to save money.

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:I don’t see any negatives to this idea.

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted: suppressors are overlooked in terms of combative situations because you lose a certain percentage of damage for only a “tighter” spread and that’s it at the crazy price for $12000 (for the best suppressor) just to make my assault rifle feel like a paintball gun and if you wanna go the cheaper route and buy the $6,000 one then you have a marshmallow shooter(see where I’m going with this?)I feel as this would be a way to bring them into the mix if they got some kind of buff or at least a price change.

The only buff suppressors should really have is removing the damage debuff. The "Silencers somehow making boolet hurt less" trope has existed far too long and really makes no sense at all. Realistically weapon suppressors more often than not increase the velocity of the a bullet leaving the barrel... So it should really do *more* damage.

nobody uses them for that damage debuff and the insane 12k price range.

This will just result in everyone using a suppressor, no? I don't disagree with you that a damage debuff sucks, but there needs to be some kind of trade-off to replace it, it'd be silly to see everyone with suppressors on.
I will say this however, the only true use of a suppressor is to either, Suppress the Freedom and Sanctum energy railguns which make them as quiet as a whisper, making it difficult to know where a shooter is picking off people from

And another is that it stops the GRY Saber Rifle from doing so much extreme noise that it actually breaks your game, if that rifle fires rapidly full mag dump, your sound will go bye bye.

damage debuff should be removed, as there is no proven data that suppressor reduce any lethality of the gun it self. Performance is the same if not even better with silencers

I get what you mean but as for now we barley see suppressors because it takes 20% from the base damage of your gun for example if the as Val could get an suppressor on it then the damage would be 22 instead of 28 which is HUGE in an combat scenario. I’m saying the damage debuff could be lowered on all suppressors.

This trope is Very common, but in games its done for Game balance
Personally im +Support on this, but completely removing the Debuff? god no. Maybe for the 12k one because that costs more than Attachments (Flashlight and Laser), but for the Rest there has to be some Trade off

Makes sense for cqc as irl you'd go deaf from all of the Cadets mag dumping D class.

I know, like I said, I agree the debuff needs to be improved, I'd just like people to be specific on what to reduce it to or replace it with, rather than everyone just saying that they agree. I don't want to just fully remove all debuffs as that'll result in what I said, everyone will use suppressors 24/7 (even if they're expensive).

Would you say this seem balanced?
L1 suppressor -20% dmg , tighten spread
L2 Suppressor -15% dmg, tighten spread
L3 Suppressor - 10% dmg, tighten spread
L4 suppressor - 5% dmg , tighten spread

Cant remember the other cheaper suppressors names but….
1st -25% dmg, no spread change
2nd -20% dmg, no spread change
3rd -15% dmg , no spread change
4th -10% dmg, no spread change
