Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?
-I am applying for Exceutive Researcher today so I can have the power to further better help my fellow researchers in their endeavors and help out the Researcher Division as a whole. Currently I am limited in my abilties to help with certain tasks due to my lack of clearance level and power to help. I would also like to become Executive Researcher so I can hold Scp Testing Competitions and Lectures to help better ourselves and prevent future fail rp's and minging.
What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?:
- I believe I am suitable for the position of Executive Researcher because I believe I have proven myself that I am a reliable helper to other researchers and foundation staff. I am consistently online throughout the day and go out of my way to see if other researchers are in need of help, wether having trouble on what they need to write in documents or need administrative help.
- I have also proven that I am able to even help on an Executive level, as I have helped twice on occasion with CL-4 Studies with Executive researchers, this goes for site administration as I have been apart of secret projects and situations where i have been trusted to keep vital information safe and prevent it from leaking.
- I have also Prevented and reported many Code of Ethics violations that have occured in the past and more recently with this newest update. I pull researchers aside and make sure they follow the Code of Ethics and have shown ways of properly handling the tests they were trying to do and ways to prevent getting in trouble.
How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?
- As of writing this, I believe I have written 6 Excellent grade documents. The idea of what makes a document excellent can both be the small and large stuff when writing a document. Of course you should have all the proper pages and headers, such as Index, Title, Goal of Study, Hypothesis and so on, aswell as having a cohesive and straightforward idea to what you are making with your document, However the small stuff also matters too such as puncuation, neat writing, correct capitalization and no spelling errors present. There is also extra steps that you can add to a document to really make it more than excellent and create a perfect document, like adding pictures and page formatting to make your document stand out amongst the rest.
What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?:
- The responsibilities of an Executive Researcher are many, They are responsible for all Researchers underneath them and the things that they do on the site, such as if they cause trouble or are breaking the code of ethics. They are responsible for teaching those under them how to properly test and study SCP's and write properly formatted documents aswell as teaching them the do's and dont's of Research. An Executive researcher also holds administrative power of giving researchers permisson on tests and approving credit for juniors, they also grade all researcher documents that are produced and uploaded to SCIPNET. Executive researchers also have the responsibilities of being Division leaders within research, such as the recently disbanded [AUD-5 | WD/ED] and keeping ontop of those along with their normal duties.
Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in:
-Joseph CatFish was born to parents [Data Expunged] and [Data Expunged] in April of 1985 in the town of [Data Expunged]. When Joseph was 15 years old he was involved in an accidental encounter with an anomalous entity that site-65 was involved of recontaining inside of his home town. The encounter left his body in an almost fugue state in between dying and alive. He was taken in by [DATA REDACTED] and was given an opprunity to choose between dying or living inside the facility and working in exchange for having access to curing himself eventually. This act of pity given to him was taken in great strides, as Joseph was able to show great work within the Researching division and decided to devote himself to researching and studying SCPs. As of now he is a Sr. Researcher and is still looking for a cure for his body, aswell as trying to find the anomaly that originally left his body this way.
