CCTV Access Changes

What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
This suggestion is to suggest the suggestion of removing CCTV Monitors and the rooms holding them giving back mapping resources and effectively voiding the issues the CCTV camera's use

instead this would be created so camera's would be made with the same logic as headcams work where you have an app on your tablet allowing you to pick a specific camera at a specific location granted conditions are met. This would (should) render shit less and only rendering what the camera's view when someone actively goes onto it instead of constantly being rendered.

Camera access could be role restricted through "Vjobediter" allowing staff to make changes when justifiably requested and approved whilst allowing camera access to be available at all times granted you have the requirements that are set up (role / clearance).

This could also create the chance to add a new box in the Electrical centres allowing CI / GOC or D-Class the ability to hack them to either turn off the area that the EC is connected to or gain access to the camera's within their own tablets.

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
i dont think this specific instance has been suggested

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- A lot more general CCTV access.
- This would allow the CCTV Rooms to be removed adding brushes back to the mappers allowing them to reallocate in future changes.
- Entities and such wont be constantly loaded multiple times allowing the server to not be so fuckywuckied.
- More objectives for Hostile groups instead of the general repeated slop.
- Tablet would gain a use for non-combative personnel that isnt just the singular use it has now.

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- Could be created lazily so entities / props still get rendered multiple times but now by alot more due to the camera's being accessed by everyone.
- Would take awhile to create the coding and extensive testing.
- Vjobediter could be abused by a backbone lacking senior Admin giving roles access to camera's that dont make sense for them to have outside of the general "i want it cause im special" frame of mind playerbase.

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
Suggestion pretty much says everything that id just repeat here so.

I like the general premise, but it's restrictive for D-Class as they don't have a tablet (and shouldn't unless ig... They can get one, somehow?) and there are other cameras that would be interesting and useful for D-Class to access (i.e. D-Block cameras to open & close the doors, cause issues. little mingey, but I think it could be decently fun imo - More sensible ones include just general cameras to use while sneaking around to avoid contact with roaming MTF/gensec/etc. or find a researcher.) So it's a little here-there. Speaking of, moving onto my next point:
A lot more general CCTV access.
This could greatly enable minging & FailRP. You could be a techie, sit somewhere in a corner, open up the tablet and just start opening the D-Block doors over and over.

Otherwise, +/- Neutral
I don't love the idea, but I also don't particularly hate it, either. It's somewhat of a refreshing alternative to my previously stated alternative of altering LCZ CCTV to give expanded access depending on who uses it. Unfortunately, I don't see this being accepted. Maybe partial at most, since there are plans to revise CCTV in some way - But we've had a bunch of CCTV suggestions in the past and things like increased convenience & ease of access have been denied in the past, see the following:
A lot of the discussion there is very relevant to this idea.

This entire situation is really difficult to reconcile IMO, there's no clear answer 😔It's a good attempt ,though.

you can do this currently aslong as you have a cl3, just dont give techies the vjobeditor flag to use cams then
I would like to note that on UK, Tech Experts have a door override on LCZ CCTV centre, which they have had for months without this becoming an issue even once, to my knowledge. Having the access be remote would, however, make it easier, because you don't just immediately know where the person would be when the CCTV is being messed with like this as you do now.

Did not know that, that's wild. I guess it's probably just not as widely known.

Very much agree - It's why I took the stance I did, despite otherwise endorsing inappropriately messing around with cams in a way that could be FailRP, in the Discord thread about CCTV. There's a huge difference between having to be in one specific location to use cams and being able to use them from anywhere; Right now, if you know that someone is messing around in cams, then you know that they're in one of two locations. This doesn't work when cams can be accessed from basically anywhere. That means that something that could be more easily dealt with by ISD and create RP for them, ends up becoming more harmful if it's allowing something like too many D-Class to escape as a result.

I would rather a situation that could reasonably advocate the allowance of less-than-sensible situations that could feasibly lead to fun situations. IMO, certain instances of FailRP can be made into reasonably good RP if played out well enough - And I think going in directions that restrict those possibilities, while definitely safer, I don't agree with on principle and don't think is a good idea.

hide this information from NA techies

i see the camera system being used very well these days, big brother OA is always watching and help remote open doors idk if this is necessary
I'm a big fan of how Cameras are right now.
