MTF E-11 Captain (FORMER)
Site Advisor (FORMER)
Site Director (CURRENT)
Chaos Insurgency Alpha (CURRENT)
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?: I have not.
What O5 role are you applying for, and why (give the specific O5 number):
I am applying for the role of O5-4, "The Infamous". I am applying for this role for a few reasons, firstly, I have been playing on the server now for a while, and I have progressed from the bottom, as a D-class, up to Site Director, where I currently am. I have enjoyed rising through the different ranks, like when I was in E-11, as this was a combat role which I had a lot of experience in previously, so it was something that I was familiar with. But then I moved to Site Administration, which was something that was different than what I had experienced in the past, since I had not done a lot of site managing, or managing of that scale at all in the past. I think becoming a member of the council is the perfect next step for me to take, as do similar tasks, only site administration doing it on a smaller scale, nevertheless, with my experience I have got from my month or so in site administration, I think that will come in handy if I were to be accepted into the O5 Council, and it would give me a idea as to how I am supposed the act, and what role I am supposed to play.
What makes you the best candidate for the O5 Council?:
I believe I am the best candidate due to the experience I have previously stated within site administration. I was accepted as a site advisor, where I did a good job at improving relations between the different departments, and making sure that they are running the best possible way they can. After around 2 weeks in the position, I was promoted to site director, so I must have been doing something right to be noticed by the council. With this experience, it will allow me to move in the role as an O5 member easier than it would be for someone else, due to this past experience. Secondly, I have been on the server for a good amount of time in relation to it's lifetime, so I know a lot about the server, how it's ran and about the lore that we surround ourself with. This is a good quality to have, as you are required to understand the site and the daily goingson around it as an O5 member.
What are the responsibilities of the O5 Council in RP?:
The main responsibilities of the O5 Council ingame are, firstly, to monitor the site and make sure that the department leaders, as well as the site administration are doing their roles correctly, and if they weren't, to have them replaced immediately. They also make sure the MTF units are doing their jobs correct, especially A-1, as A-1 report directly to them. They will give them special missions which they are to undertake and to do the best possible job in. They also deal with any behind the scenes things, such as issues which have the highest clearance level, and they do that discreetly.
What are the responsibilities of the O5 Council out of RP (e.g. what applications do they handle?):
They mainly deal with applications for leading roles on the server, if a department leader were to be removed or leave, they would go through applications for that role, and choose the most suitable candidate. This is an important job, as if the person they chose were to be incapable of leading the department, it would not perform well.
Please give some lore about your O5 character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Jordan Chambers was born in Leeds in 1987. From a young age of 14 his only goal was to join the military, and to help his country.
At 18, he joined the army, reaching the rank of CPL. After leaving the army at 24, he was approached by members of Site 44, in Essex, to join an MTF Unit. He would accept, and undergo MTF training at this facility, as that is a large part of Site 44. After he completed his training, he would join Epsillon 11, otherwise known as nine tailed fox. Throughout his time in E-11, he would take part in the recontainment of several SCP's, including 173, 096 and many others. In 2021, he was transferred to Site 65, where he would receive a promotion to captain. Though, towards the end of his career in E-11, after 11 years in the MTF, he would want something more, he would want to move into a more stable sort of role, one which wouldn't require him to move from site to site, he believed site administration would be the role for him.
Chambers would spend ten years site administration, 4 of those being as a site advisor, where he would help with improving relationships between the site administration and the departments of the site. He would actively give advise to the department leaders, and in many ways, this advise would help them improve and become the best possible versions of themselves. He would, however, have a tough time in his position, when a largescale force of chaos insurgency would enter the base, and coerce a clearance level 4 personnel to open the doors to the heavily restricted 008 containment chamber, after hearing of this, he would command all available MTF units to move to the CC, and to eliminate all the chaos insurgency, and to recontain the now breaches SCP 008. Though his attempts would be futile, the CI had too many people, and site 65 had a major breach on it's hands. The breach in total lasted 13 hours, turning 70% of the personnel on site into 008-2 instances. A breach of the site itself was though to be impending that day, but luckily no instances made it out of the site, before they were terminated by a large E-11 reinforcement. A global disaster was the most possible outcome that day, but luckily this never happened.
2 years on from this breach, and a lot more experience gained, he would be promoted to the Site Director.
Though he enjoyed the role, his want for more always was there in the back of his mind, he had known about the council, though he did not know all of what they did, and it is that secrecy which swayed his mind to wanting to become one some day.... no, this day.
