Why are you applying for Security Captain?: I am applying for security captain for a few reasons, firstly, I have had a fair bit of experience in most of the different departments, being a captain in MTF, site director, and now A-1, but I have not really pushed myself within security, though it has been something I have wanted to do for a while, so why not now. As stated above, I have leading experience, so I can use that to help me with being a leading role in GENSEC, and hopefully share some tips to the sergeants who aspire to become captain or higher within GENSEC. Finally, since I am only a CPL currently, and because I have no other positions, I have a lot of spare time to dedicate towards GENSEC, and that will allow me to do a good job in improving the branch as a whole.
What makes you suitable for Security Captain?: As stated above, I have a lot of experience within leading roles. I can use that experience, and benefit the lower ranks. Secondly, due to my age, I'm mature and that will be another benefit, as if their is something with maturity in a leading role, it will flow down the ranks, and rub off on people, and will hopefully improve the attitude of the lower ranking GENSEC.
What are the responsibilities of the Security Captain in RP?: From my understanding, the main responsibilities of the GENSEC captains are, firstly, and most importantly keeping the other GENSEC in order, and making sure that all operations are being done with the upmost professionalism. GENSEC CPTs are integral in making sure nothing goes wrong which could compromise their operations, and this being said, I would argue they are one of the most important ranks within GENSEC. They are also tasked with performing trainings, and RRT tryouts for the GENSEC, this is also important as it give the GENSEC a morale boost my giving them new things to do, and also allowing them to branch out from a regular security member.
Please give some lore about your Security Captain character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Jordan Chambers was born in Leeds in 1987. From a young age of 14 his only goal was to join the military, and to help his country.
At 18, he joined the army, reaching the rank of CPL. After leaving the army at 24, he was approached by members of Site 44, in Essex, to join an MTF Unit. He would accept, and undergo MTF training at this facility, as that is a large part of Site 44. After he completed his training, he would join Epsillon 11, otherwise known as nine tailed fox. Throughout his time in E-11, he would take part in the recontainment of several SCP's, including 173, 096 and many others. In 2021, he was transferred to Site 65, where he would receive a promotion to captain. Though, towards the end of his career in E-11, after 11 years in the MTF, he would want something more, he would want to move into a more stable sort of role, one which wouldn't require him to move from site to site, he believed GENSEC Command would be the best thing for him.
