What does this suggestion change/add/remove?
Make it so people who are playing as SCPs would get their name temporarily changed to the SCP's designation.
i.e. The person playing as SCP-912 would get their display name changed to "SCP-912" until they hop off the job.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?
No.
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- Slightly more immersion. You won't see a 912 named "Joe Schmoe" saying hello to you but instead 912
- An added bonus is making it easier for staff to pull SCPs. If someone files a complaint against SCP-049 all they'd have to do is pull the person named SCP-049.
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- People may not be familiar with those who are RPing as those SCPs but not really a huge downside.
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted?
I think this should be accepted as it'd kind of remove the unrealistic naming of SCPs. People could be actually referenced by the SCP they're playing as rather than some random name the SCP has.
