What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Hello, my dearest Civil gamers, I come to you with an EXCELLENT Rule suggestion which should've been said from the start. This rule change speaks about D-class using AA, now before you instantly -support this saying "This is Op" hear me out. Some time ago I was perma banned for using AA as a D-class (Which I acquired myself without any outside help) and it got me thinking. I understand why we have rules for something like that but take into consideration D-class don't have to abide by ethics or AA authorization from silly Site Command. D-class should be able to use AA if acquired by themselves without ANY external help (in which I mean someone opening the door at all for D-class to take). I understand this is a bit vague but in order to specify what I mean I will give a few Examples. (WARNING: THIS DOESN'T INCLUDE MATADORS)
(What is considered assisting in getting AA and what isn't)
1. Directly opening a door to allow D-class access to AA - 🟥 (Big no)
2. C.I breaking out D-class in D-block and one D-class eventually gets AA - 🟩 (Big yes)
3. Using Class F and ordering a D-class to get AA via hacking - 🟥 (HELL NO)
4. A D-class reaches surface and gets help then returns without any other C.I to acquire AA - 🟩 (Big win yes)

So, as I'm trying to say, D-class should be allowed to use AA (Which in RP would be ethics dictated) and would match their want to cause maximum destruction (of course depending on the side they take). This is also not an angry post to cope:mad: (Believe me)

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
Not to my knowledge but it should be done either way.

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
1. D-class get rewarded for taking risks and are able to have fun
2. This would in RP make sense since AA is supposed to controlled by ethics and their laws.
3. It would but interesting to see D-class assassinating high ranking personal

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
1. Rp could be disrupted with the use of AA (Which would be unlikely since AA is already hard enough to get)

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
Since AA is a sensitive topic, I understand why this would be denied. Just think about the D-class who finally escape and find almost nothing to do. Let D-class players be rewarded for their risk taking and mind-boggling maneuvers. So please NL please take time into reading this and make the best choice not just for the few but for all.

Ngl chief, AA rules are kinda stupid. I didn't know that D-Class were subject to the same restrictions. I think D-Class should be considered similar to, or at the very least closer to, an SCP when it comes to AA. But definitely not in a way that non D-Class other than a raiding party could effectively use D-Class as a proxy to circumvent AA restrictions.

AA restrictions make sense balance wise for GOI, as it's easy to obtain and very powerful. Organizations would also have motive to avoid using weapons causing too much destruction.
For D-Class (Without external help) it is difficult to obtain. And they are prisoners with little to lose.

The problem that may be possible is enforcement of the rule, although I'm not familiar with the tools at staff's disposal, it may be difficult to tell if a particular situation is within the rules.

I doubt it will happen, the reason d classes cannot use AA on humans is because of how busted AA is. This is why no one is allowed to use it on people. A single minigun or nerve gas can wipe out 20+ people in seconds. It’s there to create balance. And I’m sure the last thing people would want is all d classes having AA on low pop constantly killing people instantly due to it and degrading server health.

Ah yes, low pop, usually the times of the day when either the playerbase is winding down to sleep and there's gonna be reset in a few hours so there's no point trying to sit and carry something over to the next day, or when the playerbase is winding up and becoming active.

Real talk, if you hop on in the wee hours of the morning as a D-Class to grab AA, then sit and hide for like 8 hours until population is decent, then go and cause havoc - Unless a whole horde of players do it, the impact will be felt for all of 5 to 10 minutes. It ain't that deep.

In the interim time leading up to really late, when server's around quarter pop, I can sorta see it? But visually imagining this with so few people on, this feels like a reach. As a paranoia advocate, I agree with the sentiment, but the logic doesn't line up.
