Accepted Changes to Nitro Glycerine

What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Please for the love of God rework how Nitro works so that it isn't awkward to use and doesn't MRDM people on the regular.

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
Shit man probably!

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
-Way better handling of a highly dangerous weapon which means it becomes more effective in its purpose as massive single target burst damage.
-Less MRDM (to some, this is bad)
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
-Less MRDM (to some, this is good)

I'll break this up into chapters

Chapter 1 - Holy shit why are we still using M9K

M9K (also known as MURDERTHON 9000) is a weapon pack and weapon base created by INCONCEIVABLE!. It released in February 18, 2013.

This addon, despite receiving multiple updates throughout the years, is outdated. This can be seen with the recent changes that have brought some of the M9K Rocket Launchers into the VGuns system:
  • Replaced all M9K Rocket Launchers with VGuns Rocket Launchers.
    • The VGuns RPGs are able to be configured in-game by senior admins, as well as being much nicer to use ingame compared to M9k
    • This Covers the Matador and the M202
This update has made the handling on the rocket launchers far more comfortable to use and operate. I believe that Nitro should be brought into a similar system known as like

VGrenades

or something.


Chapter 2 - VGrenades?

A new system that handles throwables in the game. There is currently a parity in how most throwables operate in this game. Smokes, Frags, Nitro, and Nerve all have different throwing mechanics. VGrenades would bring them all under the same umbrella and bring some familiarity to the throwing system.

This benefits Nitro by allowing players to easily recreate throws and thus potentially avoid bad throws that happen too often with Nitro.
 
The reason we still use m9k is because vguns doesn’t have very good support for grenades at the moment. The only vguns grenades in use right now are the chem grenades and from memory (I very likely could be wrong) they are quite hard coded to work as only chem grenades.
I could take a look at overhauling the whole system but that’d be very low priority. the system works as is, even if it’s a bit jank.

The main issue for me with the nitro is that it’s thrown offset from your camera. That’d be an easy enough fix to make it throw from your camera
