Warned for crediting people when I first started as researcher because I didn't know when or what reasons you were supposed to have for doing it. I assumed it was just to thank people for doing stuff for you, which was my mistake. I apologised to (flame?) the admin for that and we let it go.
Why should you be unbanned:
Because it's genuinely fun to play on the server. I was trying to bring out a class D for a researcher so we could do some testing, but I got arrested for that. For literally bringing someone through a door. I got banned because I was trying to explain that there were 4 class D's who were just sitting in a line to come through to do something, and that all of the people there were just trying to have fun. None of the people there would listen, including the admin. I'm not a child, I spend all day working and want to come home and enjoy a game in a genre that is fun, but there's people there literally fighting against that. I understand if someone is going to take a bunch of class D's on their own to heavy containment or something like that, but that's not what I was doing. RP is all well and good, but not when it's one person in a group of 5 or 6 who's just there to disrupt the silly fun that the group is having.
It's not exciting or entertaining to do the same 3 (non player) scps, so I was going to escort a guard and researcher to one of the actually entertaining scps that people can play like 173 or something. It was like 12:30 noon or something like that, and people are bored. I paid like £20 just to be able to do something entertaining because it takes days of playing non stop to be able to even get level 2 keycard access to do an scp, I played for like 9 hours yesterday and barely got to level 14. What's the harm in trying to let other people have fun?
Also, why was there even a need to ban me? You can warn me for all I care, but a 4 day ban is just unnecessary and done out of spite because I wasn't following along with a power hungry teens every whim, all because he wasn't the one who was having the most fun.
How can you ensure that you won't break any other rule?:
Not play any of the guards or anything again.
Why do you want to rejoin this server?:
Because it's fun? I had a great time last night doing research with level 2 scps with mft members and other internal affairs. That's what's entertaining to me. Not walking up to a painting and watching someone die just to walk back and do that again 30 times in a row.
I'm not an unreasonable guy. At the end of the day, I work 60 hour weeks and get a few days off to want to kick back and relax, and when I do that it's just ruined by people who are so stuck on to the rules and regulations at every point of the day. What I was doing was not harmful to anyone other than maybe one person's experience, and that's because their experience is watching people stand afk guarding prisoners who want to do something with researchers who can't do anything exciting. SCP isn't supposed to be boring. It's full of so much lore and creatures and people that want to explore that. Banning someone for showing those people the best side of the server instead of the same 3 parts of it is just unwarranted and embarrassing.
