What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Adds the following changes to Chemistry:

+ Readd Doctor's Chosen One - Doctor's Chosen One was never an extremely strong chemical, the biggest issue was how cheap it was. If the cost were to get increased it could be readded in its original state without issue. I understand it was an "event chemical" but it fit nicely into the "combat chem meta" on the server as it wasn't as strong as people think it was, it was only really good when mixed with other Combat Chems like Ibuprofen or Tylenol/Cortico.

+ Adds new weapon: Anomaly Harvesting Beam - Foundation has Containment Beams, GOC has Destruction Beams, and seeing as CI likes to weaponize SCPs it would only make sense to have a "Harvesting Beam" that takes samples. It would work by loading a Conical Flask and it would overtime fill it. This would also allow the addition of more samples from previously unsampleable SCPs, such as 7722, which could potentially be part of the Doctor's Chosen One recipe (playing into the above suggestion)

+ New Chemical: Anomalous Metal - SCP-7722 Samples, base effect would add a 10% damage resist for 10 seconds. Crafting Chem mainly.

+ Revert the new Sampling Limit rule, and make it work as follows:
- 2 liters per person per test (Ofc this could be also changed IC, this is a server ruling limit) - Max of 3 d-class per Sampling test, with the exception of 035 who can have 4 as 1 needs to put on the Mask.
- Surface SCPs have higher limits because they are limited time SCPs, maybe something like 10L per person per capture and max 5 people? (This one is kinda just a suggestion)
- This rule extends to Foundation, GOC, and CI for all sampling tests.
- A "test" is ended when all D-Class are dead OR the D-Class re-enter D-Block. A test "beings" when a d-class enters the Containment Chamber

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
+ More Chemistry RP, especially for CI
+ More fun with Combat Chems

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- Dev Time
- Could shake up the balance but not make things too OP.

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
Chemistry, especially as of late, has felt VERY gutted. This suggestion would add a lot of new RP for Chemistry and make it more fun and enjoyable for all players.

"but it fit nicely into the "combat chem meta" on the server"
Yeah no, multiple CI on it, jug and u will never be able to kill them but they will kill u

-support on re adding Docters chosen one.

I think it was winkie who specifically said he isnt going to add it back.

But it was op af idk what your on about. At such a low cost with all the benefits why make anything else?

And as u said it was for an event only permanently adding it to gameplay loop would just be more annoying then fun
I mentioned that its cost should be increased to use SCP samples and even gave the example of the new 7722 sample added below.

Things get removed for a reason; as for the harvesting beam, it just seems unnecessary to have a beam that just takes samples when taking them through a syringe is easy and already fast. Also, the chemical system isn't "gutted"; from what I remember, they have removed a single chemical as well as added a hard cap for sample limits. But if you want to make the chemical system more enjoyable for yourself, especially for research, there is always RP available using chemicals.

Hi @Second,

Thanks for taking the time to make a server suggestion. We already have chemical reworks underway, and the suggestion's tool trade convenience for interaction. The ruling as to sampling is not being considered for modification at this time.
