What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
So this suggestion is really simple. Everyone who has sold 50+L of chems at once has felt the pain of having to stick a Large beaker into the chemvault, and then spamming the same 2 buttons for what feels like eternity. But there is a really simple fix to add that could erase all these problems.
A Transfer chemical button.
It would work really simply. Somewhere on the current UI there would be a new button: Transfer chemical.
Once you click that, a window would open with 3 places to fill in:
- Name (It'd just be a drop down list like anywhere else, you could also type it out to make it faster. The other person needs to have a chemvault subscription active obviously.)
- Chemical (This would show a list of chems that you currently have in your chemvault, again, you could type it out if you wanted, with your favorites at the top.)
- Amount (Just type the amount in ml. You cannot send less then 1ml. But this bottom limit can be changed.)
The person recieving the chem would get a notification that they've recieved the chem and from who.
You could even add the function to send it to offline people, in that case switch out the name for SteamID, but I can see that going wrong so many ways that I'd understand that you won't add that.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?

Yea its not fun nor engaging to sit at a machine pressing 2 buttons over and over.
Makes transferring chems much faster
From god knows how long to 30 seconds max. Regardless of the amount.
Possible Negatives of the suggestion
Could lead to accidental sends to random people
This could be possibly fixed by a conformation and people not being stupid, but it is a possibility that cant happen right now after all.
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted
Just a small QoL change (man are all of my suggestions QoL these days...) that makes trading between 2 chemvault users that much easier. Of course this won't affect the trading where only 1 or neither of the people have chemvault, but I've never seen anyone without it buy more than 20L of chems at a time, probably for a reason.
But hey, anything to beat the Large beaker, withdraw 2L, deposit 2L, repeat cycle, with the clicks where the beaker still has 3ml so now you need to wait 3 seconds to interact with the machine again.
I am still in pain from that one time I had to transfer 300L between me and one other chemvault user.
But hey, this is such a small change I'm surprised wasn't added long ago.
