Why are you applying for Chief of Medicine?: I want to help improve the medical department alongside my other Chiefs and the Director or medicine. I want to be another active chief that people can turn to during the dead hours of the server. And most importantly I want to be the reason why trainees and doctors are serious and professional when doing their jobs especially in d-block.

What makes you suitable for Chief of Medicine?: I have been playing medical support ever since overall level 5 and have helped out Nu-7 and E-11 with situations that left them all in need of serious medical attention. I have been asked by my director of medicine face to face if I’ve ever thought about applying, because my actions and knowledge of the medical department is very suited for the role of Chief of Medicine. I want to keep my department and my doctors in a professional and efficient mindset constantly, even when there are no Chiefs or Director online.

Please explain an in-game medical procedure of your choice: I enjoy preforming electro shock when people are in need of it. I always ask them if they have been resuscitated from defibrillators in this lifetime and if I have their consent to proceed. Then once both questions are answered accordingly, I ask them to face the wall and I knock them out with my harpoon. If their body doesn’t disappear from the impact, I pick up my medical harpoon after getting my defibrillators out and I revive the patient. Making sure they’re at full health before they leave medbay is something I never forget to do.

What are the responsibilities of the Chief of Medicine in RP?: Chief of medicine are expected to train and certify trainees once they reach level 10 in support and wish to take their medical license test. Chiefs also are responsible for making sure medical staff are doing their jobs properly, making sure ethics is being enforced within the medical department at all times, and termination (job banning) of doctors who are abusing or not following the strict rules of medical department.

Please give some lore about your Chief of Medicine character and what storylines they would be involved in: Maz use to be a civilian medic and was pulled from a group of rouge rangers who decided to search the facility with a warrant. She has been working in the facility for years now and has been climbing her way through the medical ranks. She was a D-class for several weeks before becoming part of the medical department. She has been working in the facility for years now and has been climbing her way through the medical ranks. After losing her eye in d-block and almost dying to one of her fellow inmates, she was taken in as a medical trainee and has done everything in her power to keep the medical wing in order. Even O-1 took a shine to her during her time as a combat medic and saw her protective nature as a strong asset to their regiments and still occasionally goes undercover for them as “Raven”.
