What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
This suggestion could change the Primary weapon for both CI-Officer & CI-Command Officer, being one of two changes:
1. Replace the
M4 SOPMOD with an AKM tweaked to have Improved, Similar or Exact stats to the M4 SOPMOD.

OR

2. Replace the
M4 SOPMOD with an AKZ, a weapon on par or statistically closer to most regimental Officer primaries.

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
Unsure, haven't checked but it most likely has been before.

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
+First change would be a tweaked/non-tweaked cosmetic change to the Chaos Insurgent's arsenal of weaponry.
OR
+Second change would be a firearm that is equal to most Foundation regimental Officer weapons.

+Chaos Insurgent Officer's ranked DELCOM+ have a weapon that fits the theme for a Terror Cell.

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
None that I could think of.

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
To put it simply, the M4 SOPMOD is a boring weapon to both wield and use. It's an Non-Unique weapon for two reasons:

1: It's already used by both Nu-7 Officer & Commander
2: It's a Perma-Weapon, a mostly unpopular an unappealing looking weapon.

This suggestion isn't meant to be
"We want a change cause it's underpowered" but more rather a "We would like this change to help fit our theme better"
An AK Platform-Type firearm fits CI's aesthetic a lot better than an M4A1 (Variant #232)
In would also make sense within RP for CI to begin using the AKM instead of the M4 SOPMOD.
"Command has noticed an increasingly high growth of AKM surplus within the warehouse. Conscripts come and go by the dozen, leaving their rifles behind with us in exchange for their requisitioned or personal armaments. After crunching the numbers they've learnt that it would be far cheaper to repurpose those old sturdy rifles as opposed to ordering a new set of expensive Modified M4 Carbines. Despite their old age, the AKM Platform of firearms we have in stock are in relatively good and working condition, only ever used to fire blanks in our defunct training range. It'll take some time before this plan comes to light but we have high hopes Command will follow through."

An improved weapon is not the primary topic but it is something I put on the table.
We're mostly looking for a weapon that looks and fits better within CI as opposed to the standard SOPMOD.
The more ideal outcome is an AKM replacement with the Exact stats to the SOPMOD to prevent an imbalance between groups.

Suggestion Denied

Hi @PhaseHound ,

Thanks for taking the time to make a server suggestion.
The Content Team has chosen to close your suggestion due to the following reasons.

There seems to be a significant disagreement between UK and US CI command about if they agree with these changes. I advise making a thread and consulting both teams to ensure you both wants the weapons put forward.

Your suggestion will now be locked and marked as denied.
