Do you have any advanced skills that would benefit the GM team, such as PAC-3, dupes building, art creation and others? If yes, give us your best example of putting that skill into practice:
I personally enjoy assisting GMs in helping with events, I am much more useful as a helper than someone running an event, for instance, I played as GOC COL ‘Selfless’ during the COL promotion event to assist Cheesy with his event. I also have been taking art for a few years and can use those skills for events, decals and posters. Doing a lot more of the small work E.G RP enhancements or helping others by playing characters in their events. I have also developed multiple fully fledged characters throughout my time in O-1. You may know my O-1 characters ‘Mantis’ and ‘Clank’ as examples, I believe strong RP ability and character creation would make me a good candidate for GM. I may not be a very skilled builder or PAC-3 user, however, I am very willing to learn from other GM’s.

Please list one RP Enhancement for a Foundation Department/MTF:
"914x008 cross test"

914 x 008 testing for RSD. A test where an 008-2 instance is put in 914 on each setting from rough to very fine, each having a different outcome due to the use of props, GMSWEP and /it by myself. For example, rough destroying the instance and very fine turning it into a stronger version of the instance, almost like a brute version of an 049-2 instance or something with the likeness to a zombified SCP 082. This is a test I saw happen a while ago and it inspired me to try and put my own spin on it. I'm aware I haven't written too much, I just don't want to exactly give away all the outcomes currently!

Please list one RP Enhancement for a Non-Foundation Group:
“Just a bit of trivia”

After a long day, why not blow off some steam? A pub quiz would be organised in the Pinewood Pub with both GOC and CI invited! This would be a simple, yet fun general knowledge pub quiz with the winner getting a prize of their choice, however, the conditions to enter the quiz would be no hostile actions from either side during the duration of the quiz, anyone who breaks this rule would meet a quick end, consumed by guilt, they would be found dead in the pinewood area. This event was inspired by an actual thing I did in O1 where we hosted a pub quiz and CI showed up, I just wanted to try make it more GM based and have actual consequences for attempting to just shoot the place up instead of RP’ing it out.

Please list one Event idea for the United Nations Global Occult Coalition:
“Awakening”

A Type Green instance has it’s awakening in Pinewood, the GOC are the first to discover and would the the first to be notified of it. They would need to try either containing and contacting the foundation about it or destroy the Type Green instance, that choice is up to them. As the Type Green slowly begins to understand its powers more, the threat of it becomes increasingly more notable, the GOC realise a choice has to be made, do they call in the foundation for help or do they deal with the threat themselves by whatever means are deemed necessary? I honestly got inspired by Cheesy for this as we had a long conversation about Type Green instances awakenings and how an event for that would go, especially on surface and since that chat I've been wondering how it would go, so, this is my interpretation on it!

Please list one Event idea for the Chaos Insurgency:
"Is that a walking piece of cardboard?"

The Creative Cat, an anomaly that has been transferred to the Sierra-7 core to aid them. The Creative Cat is an entity that is a fully sentient cardboard cat and can draw items on a sheet of paper, using its pencil and within 1-2 minutes of the item being drawn, it will detach itself from the paper and become a physical item which can be used, for example, field aid kits, ammunition and weapons. Once the Cat has formed a bond with someone, it will draw more or less anything it is asked to, within reason for the person. Anomaly would be likened to that of 2295, however, it has the ability to create items via it’s paper and pencil to do whatever it pleases, whether that be good or bad, I plan to have the anomaly work with CI and become attatched to a specific CI that shows it kindness and it will then become like a pet for that insurgent, doing what it is asked, however, if the anomaly gets scared, it enters a frenzy and tries to find a hiding spot, even attacking anyone it deems hostile by scratching at them. I plan on the event ending by the cat running out of paper and falling asleep in CI, not to be seen again... untill next tme .

This is a CI owned anomaly I found on the wiki that I found very interesting, I was originally going to do Josie the half cat, however, found this CI specific anomaly and thought It would be much more interesting

Please list one Event idea for the SCP Foundation:
“The Lost Art Of Keeping A Secret”

An unknown anomaly appears on site and seems to be…. Too honest and too knowledgable, as any question it is asked that it has knowledge on it answers with the truth and seems to be unable to lie. As people interact with it…. It seems to be some kind of memetic as now everyone it touches seems to be telling the truth, how do they cure it? Well that’s up to site staff. However, If an individual attempts to get the anomaly to info leak high clearance information, it would whisper it in the persons ear and anyone who heard it would slowly begin to rot and decay, the only way to stop decaying? Forget the information and make your mistakes right.

I plan to run this event as a way for new players to learn a lot about how the server works, as they can ask any question and learn whatever they want, however, in RP they will end up forgetting it. I want a way for new players to get to know the server lore and how it works in a fun way so they gain a lot of knowledge OOC. It's also a fun event for experienced players who want to try work around the anomaly and try keep the information!

Please list a Major Event or Map Change idea (Involving all sides and the entire server):
The Three Portlands Peacekeepers
Read more here: https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/three-portlands-hub
Note: As of now, I have not found a map for this event, I am still looking, but I didn’t want it to delay me posting the application

Foundation and the UNGOC has been sent to the three portlands after riots have been occurring across The Three Portlands, after arriving, it is discovered that the British Occult Service are the ones causing the riots across the city. This results in negotiations having to take place between both sides including the Three Portlands City Council, the Mayor,Foundation and GOC. depending on the outcome of these negotiations, a full scale war will break out accross the city, causing the Foundation and UNGOC to have to fight off riots across the city, they would either retake the city and restore the power to the city council, or the city would descend into chaos and be slowly destroyed by the riots after the attempts of foundation an GOC fail. However, if the negotiations are a success, the city is retaken and the foundation and GOC successfully leave the city unscathed and the city avoids becoming an inferno. Those not involved in the negotiations will be able to explore the city, interact with the civilians and find many little trinkets and anomalous items in the city. People may even choose to attend a lecture hosted on the history of the city which will be hosted by a professor from the three portlands university, this will serve as a way for me to explain the lore of the city to those who are unaware, so the event can be more engaging and negotiations etc. will be easier!

I am aware I am leaving this event rather open ended, but that IS on purpose as I want to give the players freedom in how they play it, especially with the negotiations and the threat of the city falling to chaos. There are many possible ways to play the event including, treaties, negotiations, brute force and even losing control of the city just to name a few. Like I mentioned, I want to leave it open to interpretation which is why there is no concrete ending.

I did struggle to get some of my ideas onto paper, I'll be blunt, but this is an event I'm passionate about and want to eventually run as I find it unique and have been incredibly interested in this article and the lore behind it ever since Cheesy showed me it back in August. So I do apologise for some of the lack of detail, but I am actively working on it. I didn't want to delay my application while I thought out every minute detail, but I will be working towards this

What elements can make an event unenjoyable? Include one example, avoiding the typical answers if possible.

Events can become unenjoyable when the event becomes over run by minges or if the GM loses control of the event entirely. An event needs to have a structure or an ending somewhat planned, if an event drags on for too long, all parties involved become tired of the event and it becomes less enjoyable for all sides. Poor planning of an event and unengaging characters also make an event very enjoyable, an event should also look to get people engaged rather than leaving them standing around watching and becoming bored. A good of example of an engaging event was the gambling event ran by Jimmy Swan, where people actively got involved and were invested in it.
In all honesty, I’m not really sure what you’d call a “typical answer”, these are just things I’d try avoid when making an event.

And finally, what do you wish to achieve by becoming a Gamemaster?

I want to give the community and its members something to do, and give as much RP to as many people as possible as down time on the server can be really boring and just be helpful to anyone who needs it. I also wish to develop my skills in PAC 3 and building, throughout my time as a GM.
My main goal however, would be to help out other GM’s with their events where they need it. I find it more enjoyable working as a team with people and prefer it to working by myself, I would like to be an asset to the entire team and not just work by myself.
I would also like to improve my overall RP and RP creation ability by working with others and stepping outside of my comfort zone of only playing O-1.

Final additional notes (unrelated): I wasn't originally going to apply as I wasn't sure if I'd be good enough, but after constant pushing from GM's, SGM's, event team supervisors and a former HGM, I decided I'd give it a crack. I'm willing to learn and want to help others, I'll be blunt when I say I'd try help people more than do my own thing as that is just the kind of person I am, but I do have stuff planned for my own events. I'd also like to add, I'm aware the map change isn't exactly very long. I do have many ideas for it, I just struggled to get it down on paper(or a screen in this case). I hope the quality of me kind of outshines this application as, due to school, I'm quite burnt out from writing essays and have been struggling a bit creatively and with some pretty horrific brain fog, so I hope my application quality dosen't completely fuck me, anyways, writing it was a struggle and took way longer than it should have. Thank you for reading. Go raibh máith agat, slán go fóil!

Judging this based purely on the application, all the events are good, and well detailed. The ideas are also creative, and span a decent amount of the SCP universe. Something that could've been elaborated more on however is the GM/OOC side of things. A large chunk of the things mentioned here seem quite simple, however some explanation for other events (CI, Map Change) and how they would be conducted from a GM perspective would be useful. Also no Map link for the Map Change Event, but you mentioned that yourself so who cares.

Your RP and conduct in game is also very professional, and you're chill as fuck. Won't comment more as I am partially biased (being a friend and shiz), and other people have already commented on your capabilities.

Best of luck.
