What makes you the best candidate for Overseer Assistant?: I feel I am the best candidate for Overseer Assistant because I have quite a bit of experience through roles and playtime on the server. As I was Ethics Assistant in the past I have participated in some of the duties already. I am very active on the server, I have cleaned up my past (warns/bans) and overall I try to keep the site great. I am always looking for something to do so I feel the tasks I would be given would be not a challenge and I would be determined to get them done. I have known lots of people in Site Command, Site Administration and AO. I feel that I would easily get along with everyone that I work with. Due to me having command experience I am also good in roleplay. I feel I would be able to enhance and improve roleplay as an Overseer Assistant. Me being a BCOM in CI, DEA DPT Manager, ECA, and E-11 CPT, it really helped me understand conflicts of GOI's and departments. I know how to take a look at both sides to determine the rights and wrongs. As I play ISD I often have to deal with Inspection and Alpha-1. I always try to improve myself and help others so they can achieve also, I am always looking to give suggestions for improvement which I feel is a big need. I feel if I got this position I could really help out and be an inspiration towards others to do better and maybe even become OSA+.
What are the responsibilities of Overseer Assistants in RP?:
-Enforce Department policies, and the CoE/CoC.
-Follow/take orders from the O5 Council and do as told.
-Authorizing Advanced Armory when NEEDED.
-Authorize work permits.
-Authorize KOS past Airlock when NEEDED.
-Assist in Research Department such as giving suggestions for
documents, assisting in the actual test, or approving/signing documents.
-Oversee the site and it's duties to make sure site is safe and contained.
-Conduct interviews with different departments to see what is happening and if its well.
-Remain professional in-front of others to represent self as a well trusted assistant.
Why do you wish to become an Overseer Assistant?: Throughout my time on the server I haven't gotten to try anything within O5, OSA, or A-1. Due to me being ECA I figured this time I would try OSA. OSA seem more serious and enhanced, I would like to be a good representative. I would enjoy being able to assist in departments and site again weather its interviews, questions, breaches, or even just work permits... I feel I would be a great representative of Site Inspection and I would be a big help in assisting and doing my orders that are given. I never got to really oversee the site and I would actually like to be able to do so. I want to make sure everything is contained, there are no intruders, and everyone is doing their departmental duties. I have experience in dealing with high standard roleplay experiences and having to take control when no higher ups are present. I would like to see both sides of the server, one being CI who goes against the foundation. Then being OSA who assists in enforcing what the foundation does itself. I feel I would love to have the experience to be an Overseer Assistant and be a great representative for others.
Please give some lore about your Overseer Assistant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Teen Age: "Comet's" parents were taken when he was the age of 13. He had watched everything that had happened, it was July 11th of 2012. He and his parents were watching a movie in the living room of their poor home. All of the sudden they heard a loud ruckus outside, they heard someone pounding on the front door. His parents told him to go hide upstairs, he hid in his parents room upstairs. All of the sudden he heard a loud scream, it was his mom. "Comet" has chills go down his spine, he didn't know what to do, he rushed to the window and looked outside. He watched 2 men in grey military uniforms drag his parents down the driveway and thrown into a black van. He ran to the phone and called the police, he had stated everything that had happened. Once the police arrived they didn't know what to do, once "Comet explained the gray uniforms, they knew it was the Canadian Military. "Comet" was put into a foster home, he had never figured out where his parents were taken. He had thought about it everyday and it always gave him chills to think about.
Military: Once "Comet" had turned 18, he joined the National Guard, "Comet" had been in the National Guard for 5 years. On July 11th of 2021, he had all the memories of his parents flow through his head, it had happened on that exact date 9 years ago. All of the sudden a giant weird looking comet hit the ground about 50 feet away from him. He and his fellow Nation Guard Privates as he was the supervisor of them ran towards it with their guns pointed. A man had broken the rock and half and stepped out of it. The man had snapped the 2 of the Privates heads and made the other one Dissolve, "Comet" screamed over the radio calling for backup. The Canadian Military had been listening in, they knew that this was an SCP. "Comet" ran faster than he had ever before, the "SCP" had not been chasing him, after he noticed he was alone about 100 feet from where it happened he saw multiple Humvees and LAVs show up, these were not the ordinary ones that were issued. He was skeptical of it, all of the sudden he saw men in gray military outfits get out, he knew they were the same people who took his parents. The men in gray noticed how he was the only survivor, they kidnapped him, put a gag in his mouth and blindfolded him. About 10 minutes later he heard multiple gates open, he was scared of where he was and who he was with. They dragged him down multiple elevators, he didn't understand how this place could be so big. He was taken to some room, the men in gray took the blindfold off, he yelled "WHO ARE YOU, I KNOW YOU TOOK MY PARENTS TOO." The men told him to calm down, and that they just had some questions to ask, he turned around to see where he was, there was some type of logo behind him. Outside of the room he could hear this purring noise but it didn't sound like an ordinary animal. He had asked the man what that noise was, the man stated "Don't worry about it." Comet knew they were hiding something from him, he just couldn't figure out what it was and what was going on. The man looked at his nametag, it stated his last name, the man said "I see your name is Tiggle, I've heard of that somewhere." He had a large amount of chills go down his spine, he started to wonder if this man knew his parents. Comet stated, "Do you know my parents?" the man responded "Maybe, maybe not, I want some information off you." The man asked what had happened, he had stated about how a large the comet hit the ground but somehow didn't make an impact upon them, and also how a strange man came out of it and somehow killed his fellow Privates. The man in gray had known he knew too much, he found Comets military ID and took it, the man looked up on the computer Comets name and all of the information on him. He had seen everything that had happened and how he had a report on him about his parents being kidnapped. The man offered him a job, he couldn't take a risk letting him go with this information. Comet had thought about it and had hated working in the National Guard, he could barely get enough money to feed himself, let alone pay his bills. Comet accepted the offer, he asked what kind of job and what he would do, he had been given information off what this place was, it was called the "SCP Foundation" they had explained how they had these creatures with powers in the facility and how they needed to keep it secret for the sake of humanity. The man said he would be put in "Internal Security Department" The man told him he needed a code name, Comet thought about it and decided off the name "Comet" due to the incident that had happened.
ISD & OSA:
As a ISD Operative, Comet was assigned to monitor personnel activity within D-Block. He was responsible for rooting out keycard abuse, contraband movement, and unauthorized weapon usage. Within a month, he developed a personal system for tracking suspicious personnel using movement patterns and access logs within the site's computer database. By the time he became a Inspector, Comet was respected and feared. His name alone could cause D-Class to behave. He led several quiet operations against suspected CI informants and even shut down an illegal trading ring operating between medical staff and D-Class handlers. But over time, the paranoia, politics, and red tape wore him down. He didn’t want to just enforce control. He wanted to shape it. After a disputed Ethics vote on D-Class usage went public, Comet was spotted speaking with a black suited man guarded by Alpha-1 in the Research Wing. Rumors were spreading fast. A few weeks later, Comet vanished from ISD patrol logs. He returned with a Clearance 4 card, a black suit, and a new title. His first few weeks were brutal. He shadowed existing assistants, learned the protocol for dealing with Level 5 orders, and studied how to handle cross-division disputes. He assisted in classified sweeps for memetic contraband, authorized D-Class labor contracts, and helped draft protocols for the sites containment....
Comet’s defining moment came when the entire kitchen staff began to unionize, marching through Core Sector shouting: “NO PAY, NO TRAY!” Food production halted. D-Class grew agitated. Researchers began complaining, and command was seconds from declaring a lockdown. No one wanted to handle it. Then Comet stepped into the cafeteria, alone. He spoke calmly with the chefs, asking what they wanted. They demanded $40/hr — up from $10. It was absurd… but Comet remembered unused budget allocations from the O5 Council’s surplus for morale initiatives. He made an executive decision. He responded with “Done. You’ll get your $40 but no more revolts, understood?...” The chefs cheered. Work resumed within the hour. The strike ended with zero force. Not a shot fired. The O5 Council rewarded his judgment by making him Lead Overseer Assistant for Site-65.
