Content Suggestion Communication Blackout at the start of a 2+ SCP Breach.

Content Suggestions will be reviewed by Content Team weekly, please allow time as not everything can be reviewed at once.
What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Communication Blackout, during a Blackout caused by multiple SCP's breaching, or even potentially when CI break the generators)

Muting /c(0-5) for a minute, or for a random amount of time around 10-100 seconds. (For a bit of randomness)

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
Not from what I can see

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- A bit more of a fear factor for larger SCP breaches.
- Nice bit of extra RP to a breach or to a raid.

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- Could slightly slow down containment.

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
Overall, I think once a few SCP have breached, rather than within seconds the whole site knowing what it is, while all the lights are out and doors won't work. Why would communications work perfectly. I think having that timer (which could also be random if it happens), just instills that bit of "oh shit", when no one knows whats going on straight off the bat. (Also experiencing this for the first time would be crazy af)

The only negative is that, of course, it can slow down breaches or be annoying to some people. So, having it be random for breaches for a random amount of time could just be a nice bit on top. But really, this would only slow down breaches for a minute and just add a bit extra to them, similar to what already happens with doors, etc going out.

No one wants more disruption than there already is. Besides, the intended result here would be null and void due to teamspeak.
Fair, more of just in-game /c was the idea as inter-regimental comms are just radios (TS), and I'd get those would be fine, would just be intra-regimental communications that would be affected.

Also, with blackouts, it'd probably be in the same timeframe, when those come back up. 🤷‍♂️

I don't like the idea of this as a breach buff, but having comms be something like dependant on an electrical subsystem could be interesting in terms of CI raid targets and provides more use to the engineering jobs. But that's a huge stretch, I think. It's probably workable to some degree, but I can't think of any ways to implement it that wouldn't either cause major problems in some way or be otherwise not worth the effort.

I can overanalyse this as much as I want, but boiled down, even though I personally like the concept, this is ultimately probably not a good idea. A couple reasons that come to mind are too disruptive and would encourage more use of TS over in-game comms, which to my understanding, is not something that is desired.

I think the Comms should go down during the Triple Breach Blackout and come back immediately when the lights turn back on for that extra bit of fear without disrupting too much RP.
Yeah, that was basically what I meant by 2+ breaches. Was only for the Triple breaches.

Yeah, I kinda tried to emphasise that this is during the short period after a triple breach has happened, when you basically can't do anything. Just to see basically radio silence in comms. Just a cool idea in my head, so I was like yeah suggestions.

I like the idea of this honestly, and I do feel like this could work well, but with how consistent breaches are, this would devolve from being a fear thing, to just something extremely annoying.

Also would this affect regimental Teamspeak? If so uh, sounds hellish to monitor.
As replied to Broda, inter-regimental should be fine, intra-regimental would be affected (Only /c).

I like the idea of comms blackouts being a thing generally. Maybe a subsystem box that is in a hard place for intruders to access?
This was the same line of thought I had, but I feel like it would be best in a location that's both hard to intrude, but easy to get to from an F point of view. The only location I could really think of that's like that is LCZ Electrical.
