Community Awards 2025 and Fireside Chat!
Hello, Civil Networks!
What a year it has been!, We have experienced ups, downs and everything in-between, but one thing has remained constant: YOU, our incredible community. Your passion, dedication, and support has made 2025 an unforgettable year, without all your support, we would not have been so passionate about this years awards adding into our Fireside Chat for the first time to show you guys what we have planned on the road ahead!
This marks now our second year in a row for the annual Community Awards, albeit a bit delayed which we would like to apologise for, in a true fashion, every time we get closer to completion a set back knocks us flat and we have to get around it, which has lead to a massive delay.
As this will be a longer post I am going to forgo any voting stats and just get right to the meat and bones, first we will start with our special guest! After all the praying we have done this year, please welcome the son of the lord almighty himself, JESUS!

Fireside Chat
As you have noticed this is not an ordinary Community Award post, in fact we decided to bolt on a Fireside Chat in order to give you the players an insight on what is going on and out plans!
Within the fireside chat we have shown off quite a few new things alongside sharing our updates for Site-9!
GOC Tactical Suits
Developed by @KLua
As part of an ongoing development effort to provide some content to the Global Occult Coalition in the form of adding an actual mechanic for the main armaments of the GOC, the Tactical Suits.
This will comprise of numerous suits that can be called in by the GOC CO team in order to deal with personal and anomalous threats with specialties such as;
- Bronze Suit - Used for combatting reality benders
- Grey Suit - Translucent suit used for Reconnaissance, intelligence gathering and infiltration missions
- Red Suit - Protection against environmental hazards such as; fire, biohazards and infectious SCPs
- Yellow Suit - Heavy duty power armor used to combat most types of SCP threats
- Orange Suit - Ultra heavy chassis used for combatting extremely strong SCPs that are resistant to normal arms fire.
LVS - Vehicle System
Developed by @WotInkermnation and @Jacub
As part of an ongoing project to move away from Simfphys vehicle base which is not fit for purpose, Kermit has spent a lot of his time optimising and preparing vehicles to be used with the LVS base which will provide a whole host of improvements, including vehicles actually being drivable and not gliding on the surface!
Changes;
- Driving and Handling on slopes has been improved and easier to manage on lower tick rates.
- Tank tracks now have grip to the surface when moving and can turn in place
- Weapons now have limited ammo and can overheat if firing for too long
- Tanks now have ammo types (AP and HE)
- New splash damage effects
- Working optics on certain vehicles
- New Armor system
- Weak points that can disable vehicles i.e. engines, tracks, wheels
- Spike Strips
- New repair tool
- Working sirens and lights for Pinewood Emergency Service
