Why are you applying for Medical Consultant?
I am looking to step up into my first CL4 role and as of recent have been mainly playing medical mostly Combat Medic but also Sr. Doctor when cm is full. I enjoy playing medical a lot being a healer role to support people.
What makes you suitable for Medical Consultant?:
I have a somewhat good understanding of the medical field so I would be able to contribute well in RP dealing with those things. I also want to be there to support Doctors and Trainees in helping they learn the ropes of the role and eventual medical license test.
Please explain an in-game medical procedure of your choice:
Fixing Fractures:
1. When an injured person who says they have a fracture enters medbay escort them to the Fracture/EST room
2. Ask them to sit down on the X-Ray machine to find what limb(s) are broken
3. Once the machine displays the injury produce the medicine to fix the limb(s). (one at a time if multiple fractures)
4. After they take it ask if they are feeling better, if they are then escort them back out of medbay.
What are the responsibilities of the Medical Consultant in RP?:
Enrich RP scenarios involving medical (infections, psych checks, etc)
Support lower level Medical personal either with questions or training them
Work in supporting the growth of Medical
Please give some lore about your Medical Consultant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Mike Moore started off his Medical Career as a volunteer EMT and later employment as an EMT, during this period he went to Medical school part time and became a full fledged doctor with a Doctorate from Georgetown university where he also did his Residency. Afterwards he got a job as working for Doctors without Borders. After multiple years of working he encountered an extremely difficult subject who came in with Medical signs no one could diagnose, while working to diagnose the subject Agents came in and took everyone who was involved including the subject. While he does not know what happened to the others he was questioned borderline interrogated about what he had found. Whoever looked over his work seemed to have liked it in some form and he was presented with a job opportunity, the benefits and pay were just something he couldn't turn down with him accepting it in the end. After orientation and further training he was stationed at Site-65 where he started as a Sr. Doctor and later worked his way up to the consultant position
