What makes you the best candidate for the Ethics Committee?:
I am easily reachable regarding any issues. When something comes up, I try to handle it internally first by speaking with the people involved, asking whether something is going on, and trying to understand why it happened.
Usually, this goes well, and the issue can be resolved before it needs to be brought to anyone else.
I believe I understand the overall idea of the Ethics Committee. Having been brought in from D-Class at an early stage, I have more or less been molded both OOC and IC to have most of the related knowledge.
However, one issue I am aware of is that I tend to act on prior information given to me until I am directly told otherwise, as I may not realize something has changed. I have a few issues I am aware of and have been working on.
I also want to create further RP for people while trying to include all sides of site staff. I feel like I would be able to guide ECAs through their beginning stages before letting them take more responsibility on their own—like dropping a bird from the nest, so to speak. Sometimes, the best way to learn to fly is to be put in the middle of things.
I would like to give people stressful situations to deal with while also creating more responsibilities and RP loops within Ethics without always needing ECM+ intervention. Specifically, I would like to focus on the Ethics side of starting tribunals: what to do, how to begin them, and how to guide ECAs through the process.
I would also like to help them on an OOC level by explaining what comes next. Maxo has made a very lovely new Operation Justice document that explains everything well, but in the moment, without needing to reread the entire document, I believe it would be helpful to guide newer ECAs and make them more willing to start tribunals themselves as being in the moment may be stressful even with proof reading every person is different.
Overall, I understand how to guide people into RP and get situations started. Once the tools available to an ECM have been explained to me, I believe I would be able to handle them easily. I already have decent experience leading RP and would continue building on that experience within the role.
I also easily take in information that is relevant to the role as i myself take time to read any prior happenings on the discord channels ill be given a hold of examples would be:

I adapt well depending on the position I am in, give or take a few issues when I act on prior information. This mainly happens when I am tired. A good and bad example would be:

During the new ECA guidelines given by Maxo, I did not see anywhere that it said we could no longer remove people’s arrest history as an IC matter. These were previous instructions given by the former ECC after another assistant had asked, as I had said at the time, “I’m pretty sure we can’t remove people’s arrest history.” I was proven wrong in the moment and told that we actually could.
However, I acted on old information and therefore caused a few issues. which i learned from

As my ISD character, I was dealing with the idea of stepping down from OSA/ECA to a CL3 role. Honestly, it was fun acting like you do not know anything when, in fact, you do. This character was mostly supposed to be loyal to whoever he saw as a superior, but he was obviously misguided when it came to SCP norms.
For example, he would not realize when people were accidentally leaking information that would scare any normal person:
“WE HAVE ZOMBIES ON-SITE? I THOUGHT THIS WAS THE FLU!”
A-1 kept leaking SCP-008 information for a bit by mentioning zombies over comms, and the character would understandably freak out. (he hadn't signed the ISD contract at this moment.)"
I also were instructed to get Senior clearance 4 position within the server however i decided to gain broader information on how the site behaves as a whole. which i believe has served me well. as well as starting RP with others from a non gm standpoint. i understand that with the role i am expected to have much better mannerisms as well as taking better responsibility and people will be coming to me with issues not just as an ECM but as a person in a leadership role both for OOC and IC and may be overwhelming to some people.
My first idea for ECA's is possibly becoming mini liaisons with other non ISD departments as a "go to ECA" regarding ethics related issues. however this should be discussed further as its just my first idea. for further RP for ECA's as currently people immediately go to ECM for most things even if the ECA could handle it.
