What does this suggestion change/add/remove: My suggestion is for D Block to be given a ball and a hoop for activities while waiting for testing, D Class is usually either low pop or just full on hectic leading to a very small amount of tests being held. A ball was thrown into d block and a group consisting of me and two other D Boys were enjoying a game of catch with a football, the sheer enjoyment of this small change was enough to keep us on D Class for a long time, and researchers always had someone to test on in droves. Also an announcement system that reminds D Block to line up if they wish to be tested if it isn't already implemented (it may well be). The ball should respawn if thrown into the pit because god forbid people want to have fun and a troll decides to lob it like an old man caught you kicking the ball at his fence.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?: Not that I can see, but I may be wrong
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2): Increase in testing and productivity, overall attitude of D Block would definitely improve since we are test subjects not cattle. I also believe that it can lead to fun events to do with football or basketball, it is a UK server too and we love our ball games, not just the UK but Europe in general is very football mad. Lastly I believe D Block is in need of attention before it becomes as unlively as the surface, this will increase the population in d block and make testing more frequent resulting in less combat RP which lets face it is incredibly dull after a while.
Possible Negatives of the suggestion: It may be distracting for some and also it will be open to griefers who decide to throw the ball into the pit or just troll in general. It could also be used as a shield against bullets maybe, not sure how the physics would work on that but anything is possible, the hoop could also be used to dangle d class if it is low enough but I believe a decent height above could solve that.
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted: If you play a D Class you slowly start to understand why gensec always want to shoot first and ask questions later, but some of us actually enjoy the interactions, some of us make PACS to bring joy to the security (Like jimbo dingleberry). Furthermore I believe that security may also enjoy watching the D Class play ball while on guard, I do think this will be a brilliant addition for everyone involved, more event opportunities, more fun RP, more interactions and way way more testing RP.
