What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Change the singular D-block door to a double door, preventing people from getting stuck and allowing much easier access. Whether this be a glass door such as the medbay entrance doors or a solid door like the checkpoint in between D-block and the content team is up to SL/Content.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
I do not believe so.
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- Prevents people from getting stuck in the door (it happens LITERALLY all the time).
- If a glass door is added, non-combatants can determine if it's safe to enter D-block.
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- If a glass door is added, it may nerf D-class's ability to revolt slightly but realistically it has the same effect as if someone comms'd in that D-class were running amok in the area.
- No other negatives!
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
As someone who mains IA Ambassador, I've had tons of instances where it's a huge pain in the ass to drag someone who's cuffed out of D-block because the amount of people trying to get in and whatnot. I've also seen D-class constantly get stuck on one another when being pulled out in restraints by researchers. I'm honestly surprised this hasn't been suggested before!
NOTE: Keycard access would still be required with this suggestion.
