Content Suggestion D-Block Shower Stashes

What does this suggestion change/add/remove:​

Add either or both of the following to D-Block showers:

• A keycard stash
  
  
• A grenade stash (Like the accepted gun stashes idea, but only for grenades (and if that feels too much, I wouldn't mind just limiting it to smokes & flashes, maybe a few types of chem nade, too?) and also potentially not per-player, allowing for D-Class to be able to pool grenades)

These would also have to be clearable by Foundation combatives, so it can be cleared out during Code 2 sweeps. It could also potentially be contributable to by CI to improve their capability to supply D-Class during D-Block raids, and hopefully inure them against server crashes? Which I imagine suck to refund from a Staff perspective atm, if you do refund those. But tbh, this may generally be moot as D-Block raids usually end with GenSec sweeping D-Block showers anyway, so

These changes may have to be accompanied by nerfs to existing riot mechanics, in the interest of favouring more natural and emergent D-Class gameplay resulting from accumulation of resources, over them just randomly being able to acquire weapons every so often.

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:​

There was this recent major rework for D-Class suggested, but this isn't particularly similar, nor does it conflict with that suggestion - It in fact, can harmonise with the planned changes.

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):​

• + As mentioned above, altercations between D-Class & GenSec may become driven more by natural, sensible & emergent accumulation and usage of resources, as opposed to them being suddenly able to acquire weapons every so often
  
  
• + May open up D-Class's gameplay loop more, encouraging them to go out and interact with the rest of the site more in the hopes of getting something to bring back to stash in D-Block, rather than riots being completely insular
  
  
• + Potentially more variety of D-Block riots if D-Class are able to return with interesting items to use during the raid
  
  
• + More ways that GMs can interact with and influence D-Block, potentially also in more balanced ways, rather than just having them have a GMObjective for a limited period of time, that GenSec can basically do less about

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:​

• - Dev time
  
  
• - Abuse (esp. Job abuse/meta from GenSec who could just hop on D-Class briefly to check the stashes to see if they need to raid - But tbh, you could do this normally in a more sensible way with ISD, too)
  
  
• - Minge D-Class ruining riots for everyone else

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:​

Alright Dennid, give D-Class 15 flashbangs, let's see how they use them.

Atm, they can effectively stash infobreach docs if they want by using the corkboard - I think we should wean the D-Class off of the current riot mechanics a little and make them more reliant on trying to smuggle things back into D-Block to cause future riots and problems with.

its not a bad suggestion but im ngl d class would grief it so much, i dont think it would be used very often, if at all

why put your keycard in a public stash when u can just hide it somewhere nobody else will find it? now if d class actually manage to all work together sure but thats a rare sight

I think it's better that in a prison-like environment d class need to be creative to hide and store their contraband, like putting it above the vent in bathrooms.
