Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?
- I have a lot of ideas on how researcher could be drastically improved. For example, there really isn't an incentive to do actual meaningful tests and write standardized documents. . If my application does end up getting accepted I want to start encouraging research partnerships so that experiments can be done based on quality with a goal in mind instead of mindlessly doing experiments. Unfortunately their isn't enough information in the researcher hall for new researchers to have an idea of what to do, so hopefully I can implement ways for new researchers to be more informed on procedures and rules. I think a buddy system would work perfectly as junior researchers would feel more comfortable and have a better source for learning.
What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?:
- I consider myself to be active and a good person to ask questions. I also don't have any other characters so I can divert all my attention towards this job. As I stated previously, I have a lot of ideas I think could help improve the situation in the research branch and would instantly try to implement them with the help of my colleagues
How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?
- I have written one excellent graded document and I learned a lot writing that document. In order to write a good document, you must be immersed in the subject you are writing about. If you aren't actively RPing and doing experiments on your topic, you will lose interest and struggle to make a good document. Another key to writing good documents is proper formatting. If your document is not properly formatted, the researcher may struggle to read it and will decrease the overall professionalism of the document.
What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?:
- Overseeing the research of fellow researchers to ensure that they are using proper caution and procedures in the facility and while testing. They are also responsible for giving lectures and informing the general research body. You also have to co-operate with other executive researchers and the director so that everyone is on the same page on the state of the department.
Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in:
- I'm not really much into lore but Davin is just a normal researcher until his breakthrough on SCP-087 where he was able to guide a d-class to descend to the furthest point ever recorded in SCP-087 before succumbing to the effects of SCP-087-1. He was then promoted to Senior Researcher and continued to do tests on-site objects and anomalies. He was then involved in an SCP-049-2 containment breach where 3 instances of the zombies broke out of SCP-049s containment chamber and attempted to attack foundation personnel. Instances of SCP-049-2 were then terminated by MTF forces and HCZ became stable again. (all of this actually happened in game which is cool)
